22.01.2022 I made some GREEN MAGIC I love putting crystals with my plants! Thought this pot I painted was going to be a water feature for The Dream Sanctum but nah. It's a lush little succulent sanctuary instead.... Did this all one handed with my broken arm, including buying plants from #bellingenmarkets, I LOVE buying from local growers. Then I put together this little world one handed, the art of going slowly, slowly. It felt good to slowly dig & re-pot, tenderly nourish roots in transition, feel the soil on my fingers. Embodying the Empress (card 3 in the Tarot major Arcana) as I heal with slow & gentle creativity, getting a bit grubby in the process cos life Isa bit messy Now when I look at it i feel nourished, I hope it has that effect for you too.

And returning to a state of feeling whole, peaceful, content, in flow, connected, in play, releasing, integrating, mastering, letting go...IS valuable.... Art can be many things, to MANY people. From cooking, to gardening, to scrapbooking, to dancing, to playing with eye shadow, to curating your favourite kicks, to putting fluffy dice up in your new car! ... it's all forms of creative expression & Art. AND it all increases our sense of mental health & mental wealth. Creative Prompt What can you do this week that invokes some kind of creative wellness? Where can you ALLOW more space, ANY space for creative pleasure or expression? And then! Anchor it in! 13.01.2022 DREAM BUILDER SESSION If you haven't had a chance to yet, here's a great way to clean up your 2020 & get ready for another phase: I am getting ready to manifest a very abundant 2021. If that sounds cliche' it's because it is.... And also. It's happening. I'm Dreaming up a beautiful year of creative projects & magical offerings. I'm getting my strategic mind & intuition in harmony with one another because that's when we work best So here's some processes to dive in: #1 Ask yourself what 2020 meant for you. After that arises dig a little deeper to see what you learnt/where you grew/ what you overcame/who you became? You may find it drops in, in just a few words: what the key theme of growth was. Then tie that up in a neat little bow & put it to the side with a thankyou. #2 If your 2020 was particularly hard/challenging, ask yourself what you can do to nurture yourself now? In order to integrate & move forward. What simple step can you take to honour the path you have been on? #3 Next, when you are ready, welcome in a new word, or couple of words that want to be explored in 2021. A theme, if you wish. Be curious, you may get something unexpected. Be prepared to learn a little about it's opposite too. #4 lastly, ask yourself what actions would like to be anchored into 2021 to bring you greater wellbeing & balance? This does not have to be separate from career/family/love.. What is being called to be anchored for more peace/wellness/vitality/inspiration/aliveness? Simple steps. You may like to use a big piece paper and a few coloured Pens to anchor that in Keep it playful & light with this last one as you write them down & see which ones carry the most urgency & energy. Your health & happiness is important in 2021 so taking some to do this kind of reflection/manifesting IS important. 10.01.2022 Embracing Chrysalis: I just realised I have accidentally stumbled into another mushy, breaking down phase of change. * Liminal space to rearrange the balance of elements. Once named, it is no longer pure chaos, it is deconstruction for reconstruction. That's what I have noticed.... Phew. Often we mistake an obstacle/break down phase (a Kali, Lillith, Ganesha, Persephone, Hecate challenge) for a down fall. In Tarot the tower card falling, as I just did literally, precedes the Star card, rising. When really, the Tower is the fall of 'the expected', the secure, the known in a way that can make us adapt, humble our egos to return to the deep source of our humanity. We can see things anew from this place If we embrace chrysalis as a pivot, a psychological shift, a skin shedding, unknowns met & fears faced, then in time it becomes a rich, vivid space for new growth, it becomes a natural part of the dance of life. Having said that it can also be a vulnerable dance, raw with emotions not often touched. A space that society is not so comfortable with. The space of less productive, or awkwardly coping, or fumbling through as best as possible. Those real deal behind the filter moments. And because of this exposed feeling, Chrysalis can feel like a step in the wrong direction, even backwards, a back to square one & sometimes there is a harsh truth in that. Except that there is also possibility in the blank slate that comes from a tower falling, from having to build a new space around yourself to heal & make new sense of things. When reality as we know it breaks, cracks, shatters, there may in time... Be more space to spread wings. More opportunity to clear away the debris, discover new priorities, uncover long burried values & opportunities to be. This can be a process slower than our minds want to accept. But the butterfly does not birth any quicker from telling it to. I say this all typing one handed with a broken arm & an infection in my body, knowing that the symbol of the butterfly has landed, pure, delicate & waiting for that moment when the cocoon of healing, is ready to gently breakopen for yet another resolution of chrysalis. #healing
