A hugely effective way of retelling a story and making new linkages between the past and the present, different groups and pulling together common experiences with sensitivity and love.

The final song from our album "Abacus Earthling" is in Melbourne undergoing some final mix tweaks and we are planning to come together with a completed record near one of these cities in 2019. 08.01.2022 Year 5 of 10 - Abacus Earthling My friend Real Ryno Blake from the gangsta rappin puppet crew Puppetmastaz was about to go solo and asked me to be his back up... DJ for his tour. One of the shows was supporting 50 Cent in Belgium. I was in! Blake lived in Berlin at the time and reminded me of an old contact who promoted at some festivals. I asked if he would be interested in The Asthmatix and we were soon booked for a string of festivals around Germany, the first of which was the massive, artist run Fusion Festival Music. where 70,000 tickets are sold out before the line up is announced. Its based between Berlin and Hamburg on an old third Reich airfield. Some of the stages are in the hidden, grass covered hangars. We performed twice at this festival which lead to further opportunities that summer like this gig at the Kugelbahn, Wedding. After and during the festival breaks, we wrote and recorded almost all of the songs that became the forthcoming album, Abacus Earthling. 06.01.2022 After a few gigs in Sydney, the album was coming along, but another trip to Europe in 2014 allowed us to spend some distraction-free time to keep building up ne...w sounds and edit parts of our songs for the album. The Berliners kept asking Where is your album? " It's coming!" ... We performed a few shows in London and by the time we returned to Sydney we realized we still needed to add drums and percussion to a couple of tracks before we were satisfied. . . Anyway... Heres us in Janeks bedroom in Wedding, Berlin working out stuff for our song Galaxiana We are launching it tomorrow by the way. See more
