14.01.2022 Hi, I'm Josh! I am the Director of Astonish, the Tutoring Co. I am dedicated to providing support to high school students in the subject areas of English, Business, Humanities (particularly Legal Studies) and Biology, although I am available to help with some other Maths and Science subjects just ask. I am also devoted to helping students develop skills in writing, drafting, public speaking, debating and mooting.... I aim to provide support in a way which is simple, tailored, and helps in achieving students’ own personal goals and capabilities. I am currently studying Law (Honours) and Business at QUT with a GPA of 6.5, and graduated high school in 2018 with an OP 2 (ATAR 97.5-98.5). As well as working at Astonish, The Tutoring Co., I am employed as a legal assistant in a prevalent Brisbane family law practice.

Throughout my study, I have completed numerous team-based projects with a focus on effective communication, peer mentoring and leadership (as well as applying maths, report-writing and IT skills).... I love to help other students better learn and apply these concepts with personalised tutoring classes to improve or maintain high grades, especially with a focus on maximising future career options.

I have nearly three years’ experience as a Learn to Swim Teacher, where I have become comfortable and confident in engaging wit...h kids of a wide variety of ages, from toddlers through to older teens and even some adults.
