Encapsulation, also referred to in the nail industry as Embedding is the action of enclosing something in or as if in a capsule, for example in- between two layers of nail products like Acrylic or Gel. The possibilities of what you can encapsulate are endless; from conventional nail items such as glitter, cracked ice and confetti etc. to other items such lace, snakeskin and more.

Sculpting involves the use of a nail form, carefully positioned to act a temporary platform upon which to begin building a nail tip using the chosen nail system (either UV Gel, PolyGel or Acrylic). It creates a base for your nails and build upon this to create the desired nail length and effect e.g. pink and white, encapsulated glitter or art, coloured or clear nail extensions. There a huge number of advantages to creating nail extensions using the sculpting method.
