19.01.2022 On National Police Remembrance Day we remember those whose lives were cut tragically short while serving their community. Shockwaves reverberated through the Australian policing community in April, when Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King, Constable Glen Humphris and Constable Josh Prestney, were killed on duty at a vehicle stop on Melbourne’s Eastern Freeway on 22 April. It was the biggest loss of life in a single event for Victoria Police.... These officers were children, siblings, partners and friends. That didn’t stop when they put on the uniform, and the sadness of their loss remains. To those families who have lost loved ones, we grieve with you. While we can never take away the weight of your loss, across Australia, the entire policing family, is here to support you. To those who continue to serve, we thank you. #NeverForgotten

10.01.2022 Today marks the start of reconciliation week. We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation. Together we will build mutual respect and understanding, which shapes a better future for all Australians. Were in this together.... #NRW2020 #InThisTogether2020

08.01.2022 The ASTPRL would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family, friends and colleagues of the four Victoria Police officers who tragically lost their lives in a horrific traffic incident tonight. Were proud to have Victoria Police members as representatives of our organisation and our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters.

08.01.2022 The ASTPRL regret to advise our coach for the last 3 years, Marty Hyde, has unfortunately decided to step down and depart our organisation. Marty gave us 100% both on and off the field and brought a meticulous and professional approach to our organisation. We are better off for having him as our coach and his friendship and guidance will be sorely missed in our annual Australian Police Rugby League Tri-Series campaigns. Our Committee would like to thank Marty for the great... 3 years he gave us and wish him all the best with any future position he takes in Rugby League. #affiliatedproud

03.01.2022 The 2020 APRL Tri-Series was due to be played this week on the Gold Coast however due to the current COVID pandemic it will obviously not be happening. The Tri-Series will be back in 2021 with Queensland Police Service Rugby League retaining hosting rights on the Gold Coast on dates TBA. Were all disappointed but the Storm Police Rugby League will be back for next year.... Stay safe everybody and look after each other.

03.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. #ANZACS
