We were able to raise a huge $1030 for a wonderful organisation Brightside Farm Sanctuary who continue to do such amazing things for so many neglected and injured animals. Thanks again to all that came along and made this possible

07.01.2022 We rescue and re home hundreds of animals a year. This includes hundreds of dogs, many of whom are not suitable for other shelters due to health issues that are... often very expensive to fix and temperament issues that need a lot of work. We take in as many animals as we can. For the 2019 / 2020 financial year our vet bill for dogs alone was $161,000 after the wonderful discount we receive from our amazing vets was put in place. Many, many dogs get to live happy lives due to our work. Dogs who would otherwise no longer be alive. 05.01.2022 Ive spent the last few days chatting to tearful couples who have had to make the decision to postpone, cancel or change their weddings to keep their guests and vendors safe. Were so heartbroken for them, and so grateful that they care enough about their community to make this sacrifice. Like a lot of other small businesses, things are looking a bit grim for us right now - weve just had our calendars clear out for the next six months. If youre in a position to, now would b...e the perfect time to support small businesses like ours where you can. When you buy prints or albums youre helping lots of people in the supply chain, the team who run our online galleries, the printers, the people who courier it back to you - as well as their families, and the businesses they support as well. If you do have the means, to order prints, wall art or an album, I have updated my options that can be directly ordered via your online gallery. If you have previously had a gallery with me that may have expired and would like me to re-open your gallery, please get in touch. In relation to outdoor family sessions, the government guidelines are still allowing this to happen as long as there is social distancing of 1.5 metres and all the sanitising measures are being used. So if you feel that you would like to update your family portraits, please get in touch as I am holding mini sessions throughout April as I have a very empty diary now with all the weddings postponing. If the restrictions change again we will be sure to follow the guidelines to ensure community safety and either cancel or postpone your family session also. 04.01.2022 I have been trying something new in this quiet time playing around with double exposures. I cant wait to get back to capturing weddings once again and with some good news today for Tasmania with zero active cases and and more restrictions lifting it wont be long to wait at all.

04.01.2022 I know we are currently in a time of uncertainty, and this week as a small business owner I have felt great stress and worry for what is ahead of us. For the time being, I am continuing with business as usual except along with the rest of Australia I am implementing methods to protect my family, my staff, and my beautiful clients On the wedding front I have already had some couples choose to postpone, some continuing to proceed with their special day with and a few waiting to... see what the next few weeks will bring before making a decision. I want to say that I support each and every couple in their decision. I will do everything I can to support my clients through this difficult time and will do everything that I can to photograph these weddings. I am hopeful that for those that postpone, we are able to find another date, which may need to be a weekday or Sunday due to the availability of different vendors, including myself. I will continue to photograph weddings and portraits for as long as I am able to or as long as the restrictions allows work to continue as I do believe that we all need to be able to continue to stimulate the economy while we can. If I should become unwell, at all, I will be do everything I can to find alternative options. If you should you become unwell please contact me so we can work out what course of action needs to happen. Please also try and support other small businesses during this time, even if you are not in a position to use their services, social media sharing, liking, commenting, referring or even asking how they are doing will help us all get through. -A x
