22.01.2022 Due to the COVID-safe restrictions on the Perth region, Astrofest 2021 will not go ahead in February. The Astrofest Committee have made the decision to postpone to later in the year. We know how disappointing this may be to the many people who love Astrofest and have attended for the last ten years, but the safety of our visitors and volunteers comes first. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Astrofest 2021 later this year where we will all enjoy a ...different sky than our usual Feb/March view! We’ll let you know our new date as soon as possible, watch this space. We’d like to finish by thanking all of the Astrofest volunteer team for their hard work the past few months. A lot goes in to Astrofest behind the scenes and we’re incredibly grateful for the support of our key organisations and volunteers. Thank you all, Stay safe, and see you later this year!

22.01.2022 The 2021 Astrofest Astrophotography Competition judges had a fantastic night with curator Roger Groom of Astro Photography Australia at ICRAR last week judging entries. We have a fantastic number and diversity of entries, and wow was there some healthy discussion trying to choose photographs!
