23.01.2022 We are all ready to go!!! Come out and see Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon!!! Boyd Park, Nundah, Brisbane.

23.01.2022 Just a reminder that there'll be some great planetary viewing until December. Opposition dates are: Jupiter July 14th Saturn July 21st Mars October 14th... Both Jupiter and Saturn will appear very close together in the night sky on December 21st...both will be viewable in the same eyepiece!!! See more

23.01.2022 Another clear night at Moogerah Dam, with 15 people and 9 telescopes. A big thanks to Chris for bringing out his high end gear and sharing it with the enthusias...tic crowd. The view of Saturn through the 150APM and binoview was absolutely superb!!! The location has become EXTREMELY busy with too many car headlights and people with high power torches doing light painting photography. So in order to avoid a high body count, we will be going to a new secret location next month. - 2x 8" Dobsonian - 8" Collapsible Dobsonian - 8" Newtonian on HEQ5 Mount - 16" SDM Dobsonian - ED72 on NEQ6 Pro - ESPRIT 120 on EQ8 - 10" Meeade SCT on AZEQ6 - 150mm APM on AZEQ6 - 80x400 refractor on Star Adventurer See more
