In HR, we deal with resolving conflict in workplaces whilst trying to achieve the outcome (as do the managers and employees). In fact, as humans we deal with conflict in every day life. 12.01.2022 On the 28th of September, stage two of the JobKeeper subsidy comes into effect, which means that businesses have to meet the standard of the 30% decline in actual GST turnover compared to the previous 2019 quarter (projections wont be accepted). If you qualify, employees that work a minimum of 20 hours a week or more, will receive $1200 per fortnight. For those who do not, or remain on stand down, the payment drops to $750 per fortnight. Have you discussed this change with... your people? Employees on stand down go from $750 a week to $375 - it is a significant adjustment. If you cant reinstate those employees - have you considered that you may lose them? If you feel this could place you on shaky ground, make sure youre having those conversations now about what the business looks like today and into the future for your people.
