15.01.2022 A HUGE shout out to our friends at Kasia's Kreations, a social enterprise run by children for children. Founded and run by Kasia Goodchap, an inspiring 12-year old, we are reminded of the true meaning of Christmas. Kasia came up with the idea when volunteering at a packing day (of toiletries) for women escaping violence. Kasia asked, what about the children? From that seed, Kasia's Kreations grew. Gathering together with her friends (and brother, Charlie), Kasia started b...y creating handmade Christmas cards for children, from children. This has developed over the years and Kasia's Kreations have become a part of refuge therapeutic support ... hand painted rocks with messages, or handmade bracelets to remind children that there are other children in community who care about them. Unfortunately, festive times like Xmas is when domestic violence (DV) incidences increase to even higher unacceptable levels. If you're wanting a unique personal or corporate gift that also helps a child in refuge to feel connected to another child and cared for, these are the perfect gift idea, all through the year.
