19.01.2022 Last week, the local land office has unauthorisedly removed my election signage from my house located in Villawood Estate Mount Duneed without any notice. I believe this unauthorised removal of signages is an act of suppression of right to freedom of expression, in the form of expressing political views. This is against the democratic values. I stand for the right that the residents of the estate have to put forward their views independently and can display the signages to s...howcase their political views on their personal, owned houses. In my opinion professionals and people working or operating their business from home shall have the right to display their signage, as it is permitted in other residential areas around Geelong. Very grave concerns have been raised that compromises safety of the visitors to the park especially kids. The park lacks basic infrastructure, no safety railing, inadequate BMX bike track and insufficient parking arrangements.
