23.01.2022 Sunburnt trained by Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr gave ATB its first winner for the 2020/21 season. With a nice ride by Dean Holland, the filly proved far too good for her opposition at Tatura. After a couple of runs from her Caulfield base, the switch to Matthew Williams barn at Warrnambool has helped her switch off more during her racing. Well done team and congrats to all her owners.

20.01.2022 Always fantastic to receive an update and photos of our retired and re-homed racehorses. Thanks to Chloe we have these of FALAGO and also a little update. "Hi Peter! Hope you are well Kel suggested sending you a photo of Fella and I today, and so I thought I might send you a couple incase his old owners were wanting to know what hes been up to!... Hes been injury prone over the last year silly bugger so has been in and out of light work but is 100% sound and happy still. Just wanted to keep me humble by chomping on my $$. Was just living the paddock pony life for a few months hence the big belly on him! He is paddocked with my 2yo, they are the best of buds except at feed time (Fella has retained some of his grumpy qualities) and are rarely seen separated. He has been coming back into work now, hopefully riding will be underway soon once we get some muscle happening. Love him to bits, he is such a character!!!!" Chloe. Sunburnt was a strong Tatura winner last start and looks well placed from barrier 3 over the 1354m trip. Dean Holland rides both of the first two runners. 09.01.2022 Anirishman returns to racing at Bendigo today. In the days after winning his Maiden on debut at Terang in December last year, he suffered a colic attack. It was touch and go for 48 hours, but the colt pulled through and after a long break he is back. 09.01.2022 LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME: After a career that netted over $170k from six wins and eleven placings from 40 starts, MAI SHINY CHOICE has been forced into retirement due to injury. It's always a sad day for owners when one of their horses is retired, but always nice knowing the racetrack thrills they gave and the good times had with other owners. 08.01.2022 Congratulations to the owners in Sirius Deal, a comfortable winner of a 0-58 Handicap over 1800m at Warracknabeal yesterday. A solidly ran race, he box-seated behind the leader. When things got a bit tense for owners before straightening for home, young Campbell Rawiller showed great poise to take a narrow gap and run out a convincing winner. Craig Newitt's left handed whip use came into good use when hanging as she hit the lead 100m from the post. Drawn wide, but his best is better than 0-58 grade and with any luck should go very close. At Bendigo we have Penthouse Playboy second-up for Patrick Ryan. After a great third at the Bool he steps out to 2400m and should acquit himself well - he has won here over this trip. Laura Lafferty retains the riding, claiming 2kgs. Connery (Archie Alexander) & Capta...in Harry (Mitch Freedman) meet again after finishing 2nd & 3rd at Sandown last start. 03.01.2022 A great win by little Periscope at Hamilton today. It’s been a long journey to this rewarding win, with injury plaguing his career over a couple of years. A long spell and a great patient training effort by Pat Ryan has seen him race consistently at his four runs this prep. And thanks to Shane Jackson who took all bad luck out of the equation by leading on the best horse in the race. Congrats to all his owners, a win well deserved based on patience alone.

02.01.2022 STREET BABY was able to break her Maiden with a last to first win at Colac today. After five career placings from her previous nine starts, the 4YO Street Boss mare rounded up her opposition in the home straight after a patient Declan Bates ride. Well done to Daniel Bowman and his team and congrats to her patient owners, hopefully this win gives her plenty of confidence. Bred by Darren & Liz, it continues the fantastic run of winners coming out of Manningtree Park.

01.01.2022 Unfortunately, we have had to retire the big boy Penthouse Playboy. He has had a few little leg issues over the past 18 months and the ownership group have decided to find him a new forever home. He is a lovely big strong horse with a wonderful nature if anyone knows of anyone wanting a recently retired OTT thoroughbred.
