22.01.2022 Disability in the Bush bridging the disability information gap. Disability in the Bush is a free app co-designed by Aboriginal Australians with disability living in remote communities. Funded by the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme and developed by Ninti One and Interplay; the app provides culturally relevant information in plain language that supports people with disability, their family, carers to access the NDIS. Translated in two central Australian Indigenous languages, Arrernte and Pitjantjatjara; it features some remote residents who share their stories via video about what the NDIS can actually provide for them. 17.01.2022 Our co-design ethos is to engage with our community, in a genuine way, in every aspect of AT Chat. Find out more about our co-design process this Thursday morning when we present at the People With disabilities WA Inaugural State Conference. Their online training is getting hammered and they desperately need presenters that are passionate about the detail of specific NDIS areas from Support Coordination to SIL, from ILO to QSF.
