16.01.2022 ATCO opened its doors for a Family Fun Day on the weekend. ATCO employees, their family and friends took advantage of the perfect weather for a day of activities at the Jandakot Operations Centre. ATCO employee-led fundraising committee ‘EPIC’, raised $600 with a sausage sizzle for Telethon. This will be matched by ATCO, taking the total donation to $1,200. ... A big thank you to the ATCO team for your fundraising efforts and to Toyota Motor Corporation Australia for bringing the TOYOTA Mirai fuel cell electric vehicle, which will refuel at the new green hydrogen production and refuelling facility in Jandakot in the future.
15.01.2022 ATCO was proud to support NAIDOC Week celebrations this week and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Local Aboriginal artist Jade Dolman spent the week at our Jandakot Depot transforming one of our features walls and creating a beautiful piece of NAIDOC week art with our staff. This year’s theme for NAIDOC Week 2020 is Always Was, Always Will Be. This theme recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years and that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are spiritually and culturally connected to this country.
14.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET At 11am, ATCO employees gathered for a one-minute silence. And in tribute, our employees - led by our ATCO EPIC (Employees Participating in Communities) committee - supported the RSLWA with the sale of poppies to raise funds to assist returned soldiers and for the families of those who did not return from conflicts around the world. #Lestweforget #OneAtco #TeamATCO ... #GetYourPoppy See more

06.01.2022 ATCO is proud to once again be a part of the Western Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute (WAALI)’s Emerging Aboriginal Leaders Program. The participants are currently in week 7 of the 10 week program, where 12 young emerging Aboriginal leaders are learning the skills to grow as leaders of the future. The group has spent the last few weeks learning about the Aboriginal culture, protocols, seeking guidance and advice from Elders, and hearing from guest speakers and WAALI... graduates. WAALI CEO Anjie Brook said this week the focus is on being a healthy and strong leader of yourself in order to be a leader in your family and community. It has been a very busy time and each week the group is challenged. It can be a bit uncomfortable but they’re all learning, growing and becoming stronger and skilled leaders, she said. We are excited to see what happens by week 10.
