25.01.2022 It's looking like all go for The Oaks tomorrow! Planning to arrive at 9am. Planned route 1 is direct Denman - Katoomba - The Oaks Alt route 2 is Denman - Brooklyn Bridge - Lane of Entry - The Oaks (in the event of cloud limiting altitude on Katoomba route) I can be monitored on OzR (Faeta321) Yes it will be cold & breezy on the day. Looking forward to the trip.

21.01.2022 Great to see another Zephyr in Australia's skies. Nasos Markonis imported his Zephyr from his homeland Greece, which is the first ATEC Zephyr ever built in 1998. Flown for the first time in Australia yesterday. Just shows the quality of the aircraft for longevity. It will be based as of the new year in SE Qld. Congratulations Nasos!

19.01.2022 Please Note: The display at The Oaks this Saturday is now postponed to the following Saturday 16th June due to weather forecast. Hopefully my take on the synoptic charts are correct. Apologies for any inconvenience.

19.01.2022 OK Murphy's Law is at work for me. Been studying GAF's & GPWT's for tomorrow & I'm going to pull the plug on The Oaks trip. It may be doable but will be far from pleasant both in the air & on the ground. That's aviation as we all know! So I'm going to go for 3rd time lucky next Saturday & looking at the Synoptic Charts through to next Friday it should be a heck of a lot better next Saturday. So let's see if all the ducks can line up for then.
