07.01.2022 TECHNIQUE ASSESSMENT What exactly does that look like? Coach @kahn_stephenson taking someone through their initial ‘on the floor’ consultation.... There are THREE main objectives. ‘The session is based around creating a better understanding around the squat, bench and deadlift. Creating an initial position to continue progress away from the session. And, stability drills that will directly impact those 3 lifts that can be used by the lifter.’ The session also comes with all the information from the session and videos of the stability drills. What is your favourite recipe for yourself and your clients?... My favourite go to recipe is a shepherd’s pie. It is so easy to make and great to freeze for meal prep. You are able to pack a whole heap of veggies into the mince mixture and then I like to top it with carisma potatoes or sweet potatoes. It is full of nutrients, keeps you full and satisfied for ages. Why do you enjoy strength training so much? I love how strength training has changed my mindset in all aspects of my life, it has taught me to be consistent and patient. I also enjoy being able to set strength goals to hit that don’t rely on what my body looks like which is so important for me personally when I’m not in comp prep. What is your favourite aspect of nutrition? My favourite aspect of nutrition would have to be the way we are able to change our bodies drastically and the way we feel with just the slightest adjustments in what we are eating.
