21.01.2022 Art Deco Keith Murray designed Wedgwood vase circa 1935. Keith was a New Zealand born architect who also designed ceramics for Wedgwood. He was inspired by seeing plowed fields while flying for the Royal Flying Corp over the French country side during the First World War, you can see the parallel contours in this vase. 21.01.2022 "The Errol Flynn Sideboard" This Qld maple Federation sideboard was made for The Australian Hotel in Palmer Street Townsville in the 1920s. Errol Flynn lived in the hotel in 1930 and infuriated the publicans wife by burning the top of the sideboard with a cigar, the mark remains today. The provenance provided by Martin Lee who owned the hotel from the 1980s until his retirement.
