Results will take 1-2 weeks longer, since you kept going the same way for that extra week. Same goes for a month and a year . . 18.01.2022 Deadlifts with kettle bells Why i like using different equipment for the same exercise on different clients. 1. What is the end goal? ... 2. What injuries do they have? 3. Are there any imbalances ? 1. Are we building awesome strength, or just general health and fitness 2. This can affect form and where the load puts stress in the movement. 3. Is 1 side stronger then the other? If so, we need to use db’s or kettle bells over a barbell. Not to mention changing it up for the client. Sometimes just using different equipment can mix it up in more ways than you think. Today i felt like doing deadlifts with kettle bells. Great to mix it up. Notice what i’m doing up the top as well? A barbell, i would stand up straight and keep the weight in front of the body with hands outside my legs. Db’s i would keep then on my thighs. Kettle bell? Start outside and work my way to the side of the body with a twist motion. Include the upper back more with a better contraction. Add more muscles in = more muscles worked, more calories burned and more muscles to break down and recover. Bigger and strong muscles means more calories are burn’t while at rest. Which means you have more room in your nutrition for great calories. Which also means no stupid liquid diets and 1200 calorie diets. Long story short. Mixing up your training. ( fun). Having a higher metabolism ( real one, no magic table bs) which means you get to enjoy food while being health ( awesome! ) Thought i’d share. Thanks for reading and keep going! Bringing a whole new challenge ... The usual deal with exercise this week. Incorporating more muscles, to more fat! More muscles, more effort too You can do this exercise in your home gym or at the gym. Just make sure to use a towel when at the gym........ 06.01.2022 Kettle bell swings. 1. Pull a sunny face 2. Make sure that face has a pinch of tongue in it ... Kb swings are great! Have back issues? You can tweak the movement around to suite you. Its a free weight, so you choose the path. Just make sure your core is tight with a flat back Kb swings are also functional. Its a but more than just up and down while being another leg and back movement. The weight gets further and further away from you. Which changes the way it feels. Abducting it away from the body. You also get to choose the range of motion. Are you going to hip height? Chest height? Or full over head. The choice is yours.
