22.01.2022 In Prep we are learning about the three parts of a Narrative. The first part is the Introduction. In our daily writing, we have innovated on the introduction from one of our favourite stories, Wombat Stew.

22.01.2022 New student free days added to Term 4! In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December , have been declared student free days. 21.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago 1A, 1B and 1/2C were extremely lucky to have some special visitors come to teach them all about fire safety. Fireman Stuart and Fireman Shane showed students around the firetruck and were kind enough to let students have a go at the fire hose while Fireman Paul assisted students in practising their 'STOP, DROP, COVER, ROLL'.



21.01.2022 Prep B created a field of poppies in recognition of Remembrance Day 2020.

19.01.2022 We are celebrating Under 8's day tomorrow morning - Friday 11th of September. To ensure safety of our students we will be blocking off the turn around bay at the Prep carpark/ drop off area. Please keep this in mind when you are dropping off your child Friday morning and do not enter the roped off area.

12.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who supported our school's Book Fair last week. We receive books as commission for hosting this event, so we were able to add these amazing titles to our library collection.

11.01.2022 Miss Day’s literacy class in Year 5 have been busy sharing the Christmas Spirit! Students have written thank you letters to staff members for helping them out this year. They had a lots of fun making these cards!

11.01.2022 In 3B, we have loved doing lots of different science experiments in our "Hot Stuff" unit. We have learnt how to correctly use thermometers, and are very good at reading temperatures. This week, we used energy from the sun to heat metal washers, that then heated up cold water! We are very clever scientists.

09.01.2022 The Children's Book Council of Australia moved Book Week to October this year. We will be having our Book Week dress up day on Wednesday the 21st of October. This year's theme is Curious Creatures, Wild Minds. Students are encouraged to dress as a book character, something book related or as something theme related.

05.01.2022 Prep B have been creating art works representing Prior's Creek for our Arts unit that worked in with studying special places in our HASS unit. We have created a mini-art exhibition in our room for our enthusiastic artists.
