A driven, self-starter and one of the most motivated athletes you will ever met, John’s journey to success was a challenging one, with him leaving the family in Perth to train with a well known coach, to then moving to California to have an even better chance of success. The result was worth it with John coming one of Australia’s most talented track stars. Since retiring from Athletics in 2014, John has worked in several media commentating roles and is a serial entrepreneur with several business ventures.
