In the days leading up to a hiking event, I always go on a recon mission and hike the trail (even if Ive done it a heap of times) to ensure that it is safe, to ensure no big changes in the trail or access points, to find cool lunch and morning tea spots and to drop a pin so I can send you the Carpark details + other reasons. . . . 20.01.2022 TODAY WAS HUGE! The Murrumbidgee Discovery Trail and 28kms done Massive day, and an incredible effort today made by everyone who came and smashed out an epic hike.. From those who hiked the first half with us (the hardest, leg burner half) to those who rocked the next 9 and 14km! You all rock and should be so proud of yourselves! ... Today was more than just a big hike. It was a day for self discovery, for pushing boundaries and learning exactly what you can achieve and so much more, especially in the right environment with support and friends to cheer you on! From the perspective of an Adventure Leader it was even more, again! I felt like I now really understand why it is I do what I do, and how much I love being able to share my love of the outdoors and nature with those who find time to adventure with me! The benefits are endless.. The friendship and camaraderie, space and time to clear the mind, the new places accompanied by new faces and smashing goals and seeing happy, smiling faces makes what I do so freaking awesome, and nature one helluva awesome remedy! I learned a lot today about leadership and what it means to me, and also just how unique we all are and what each uniqueness brings to each day and for that Im grateful! Thank you to the awesome people who came and hiked this incredible trail today! We are so lucky to have such places of wander to explore on our doorstep and Im so stoked to share such an awesome adventure with you! Connection... Nature... Inspiration! Love Candi

19.01.2022 What a day today was! Thank you Mother Nature for turning the weather on for us again, and for helping make today the kinda adventure day that leaves your soul singing and buzzing! Winter is clearly well on its way out with the amount of sun, blue sky and warm temps that were on display for us while we hiked the Mt MacDonald, Lower Cotter Catchment Loop Trail today! seriously though WOW. Thank you to the amazing group of Wanderers who ventured out, and for making ...today such an exquisite day spent out in nature! Connection, new places, nature, friends and fresh air Perfect recipe for a Sunday spent well. On a side note, Im so thankful that my homemade delicious slice surprised me by staying intact and quite yummy and didnt disappoint like yesterday Genevieve I think it was your love and care that got it there! Lol Thank you to all of you who come and adventure outside with me! Each and everyone of you bring something unique and beautiful to our time outdoors and it this that makes our moments so memorable and special Super grateful! Heres a few pics of our time! Danni handmade my beautiful key ring and I just love it to bits and my beautiful coasters are made from Australian Gum Bark #gotafroginmythroat so thoughtful and so Candi, the Wander Woman aka ATICA! My heart is full! #gratitude

16.01.2022 This mornings hike around the Mt Majura Loop was RAD! We were fortunate to have a low foggy mist to walk through, low cloud base to look over and a stunning setting and landscape to enjoy this morning! Thank you to the beautiful Wanderers who came this morning and made our hiking adventure such a rad one! Its so good to meet new people and adventure with those who have joined us before! 14.01.2022 Wooooohoooo Todays Urambi Hill and Murrumbidgee trail hiking adventure was RAD! What an incredible group of hikers todays adventure brought together! There is nothing greater than being in the company of awesome people, spending time out in nature, and exploring new and fun trails and places! ... A perfect way to spend a day! Thank you to the Wanderers who came and made today a really fun, soul nourishing adventure! I hope everyone is feeling as fabulous as I am, and have a wine in hand, while soaking in a hot radox bath! 14.01.2022 Hey there Wanderers, We have a fun and epic hike planned for next Saturday.. The Three Peaks of Goorrooyarroo.. Its not as scary as it sounds.. I promise! What it is though, is a stunning hike that showcases the best views, and landscapes of Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve and the beautiful dam in the Mulligans Sanctuary.. Im excited.. ... 14.01.2022 ABOUT TODAY Wow.. Holy Beejeevus.... What a day today was! We had perfect weather - blue skies, no wind and warm sun ... ... We set off in good spirits and super excited about the day ahead! And geez, it was a great day but for so many different reasons! Today was a dig deep kinda day. The snow was deep and presented a whole different set of challenges to what is already a very challenging trail! We trudged through knee deep snow (solid burn steps) for about 13km in total today, slowing us down making Mt Gingera summit a little out of reach with what available day light hours we had left! We smashed 18kms in total, climbed about 934mtrs (elevation gain) had lunch and cuppas at Pryors Hut before we made the call to head back down! Today we hiked together, but also in our own heads dealing with discomfort and a challenging terrain and environment. To hike with such an incredible bunch of women, who showed just how strong and capable they are is and was nothing short of inspiring! Camaraderie, friendship, new places and experiences made today an adventure to remember! Thank you to the amazing Wanderers who came and smashed today! You all ROCK and I heart the sh*t out of you! A stunning way to spend the morning as we make our way along the Murrumbidgee Discovery Trail from Kambah Pool to Pine Island. ... Note: Its a one way hike and car drop is required. 13.01.2022 What can I say besides WOW! What a day! Thank you to every single one of you Wilderness Wanderers who came to play with me in the rain today! You all inspire me... There is nothing greater than getting comfortable with being uncomfortable and enjoying yourself even when conditions arent ideal! 12.5km (my math from the recon was a touch off from Wednesday) in cloudy, wet conditions! ... A cute lunch shelter whipped up, celebrations for the beautiful Sumos birthday (thanks for choosing to spend it with us) and a day out in a beautiful location with incredible people! Nature and its crazy elements has a beautiful way of showing us exactly what we are capable of dealing with and working through and Im so grateful to have had such a fun, soggy adventure with you all! 12.01.2022 So many amazing reasons to be happy, grateful and feeling on top of the world .. What an incredible day today was! Starting with a fun, scenic hike along the stunning One Tree Hill trail with beautiful people, followed by celebrations in the park! ... Thank you to the Wanderers who came today to both the hike and our celebrations and for making it such a memorable day and one to remember! Smiling faces, laughter, new faces, places and soul nourishing goodness = The best way to spend a Sunday! I cant believe its been one year since our first adventure (up One Tree Hill) and one year of so many memorable, fun, soul nourishing hiking adventures and moments shared out in nature with the best people! We have a cool hike planned for July 4th - Three Peaks Of Goorooyarroo and Im super excited.. ... This is a super fun hike in the stunning setting of the Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve... Epic views, stunning scenery, fun hiking terrain, a couple of hill climbs and great spots for cuppas and a lunch break.. Whats not to be excited about.. Theres a few spots left.. 06.01.2022 Hellllls YEAH Today was sooooo much fun! Im on such a high! What an absolute cracker of an adventure today was! Thank you to the amazing Wanderers for coming to play out in the mountains today! Wow.... Smashing effort by every single one of you! And of course, those views made every buns and thighs burn sooo worth it! ... Today is whats its all about! 06.01.2022 Today was lots of things! Despite dealing with a chilly start and an icy cold coffee break, we had a great morning out exploring a super fun and scenic trail! So many beautiful smiley faces ... It says it all! Who needs words when there are happy actions and stunning smiles all around! ... It was also incredible to witness the significant regrowth and rejuvenation of the area after having been so heavily effected by the fires! Wow.. Mother Nature.. Powerful.. Resilient.. 05.01.2022 Hey Wanderers Heres an updated list of the Sunday Winter Warmer Walkies series.. SUNDAY HIKING ADVENTURES... The Sunday hikes will be a little shorter in distance (all under 10km) and although some trails will present their own challenges they will be on the easier side to navigate and wont take as long. NOTE: These hikes are good for everyone, especially those who are wanting to work on their trail fitness and dont feel quite up to a longer day, have time restrictions but still want to hit the trails and who may have injuries/old injuries that need strengthening without too much load and strain. Weve already had a few very successful and super fun weekends of hiking and I cant wait to get out and explore more with you. To continue on with our WINTER WARMER WALKIES series I have a bunch of cool hiking adventures that may just tempt you to don those hiking shoes and come hit the trails with us. SATURDAY HIKING ADVENTURES The Saturday hikes will vary in difficulty, although never too hard for anyone but a little longer in distance and sometimes a slightly harder trail. We are surrounded by epic trails and places, and sometimes youve just got to work a little harder to experience them. Heres whats planned so far... June 27th: Urambi Hills and Murrumbidgee Trail (14km) Moderate. SOLD OUT but will open up another day if there is enough interest expressed, so please let me know. 02.01.2022 Todays hiking adventure was AWESOME Thank you to the incredible Wanderers who came today to hike the stunning Three Peaks of Goorooyarroo trail! What a smashing way to spend a Saturday morning! We were super lucky and had the most incredible conditions for our adventure today with clear blue skies, crisp fresh air and minimal wind yay... ... I love it because we could see all the snow on Mt Ginini and Mt Gingera Good conversations, new places, epic lunch views and time out in nature with great people is the kinda stuff that makes the soul sing and the perfect way to kick start the weekend!
