24.01.2022 Debbie + Paul When Debbie and I first chatted she asked for a fun/relaxed vibe, mainly so she could look back on her photos in 20 years and it bring back memories about their relaxed and carefree life living in CQ (especially coming from city life in Brisbane). They did not disappoint! The session was quick, happy and magical. 24.01.2022 Did anyone wake up this morning and feel totally re-energised and ready to tackle the day, or was that just me? 5km walk Coffee + plant shop Planned out a HUGE day of editing ... Grocery order done I often get asked how I manage to still work full time, carry out normal day to day stuff as well as do my photography (not to mention plan a wedding + build a house which is on the cards for this year ha!) I usually laugh it off and say that I don't have a lot of time to myself for things I enjoy, but it is no joke. Lucky photography is something I LOVE, but I do go days without having a break. This year however, I'm making it a priority to have a life outside of my hectic work routine so I can still enjoy things. It could be as simple as going for a walk, playing with my dog or sitting at a coffee shop with Tyler to chat about our week. So, for the time being, while I still commit a lot of my 'spare time' to editing, I will most likely take longer than your average photographer with turn arounds. This is something I've struggled with accepting in the past but not anymore. I make my clients very aware of my time frames before going into a session, so everyone is on the same page and I’m not under unnecessary stress. Anyway, I better stop rambling and get back to it. 21.01.2022 I've been a bit quiet lately... here's why! I'm on the Gold Coast attending a 3 day photography workshop. I have learnt so much already and can't wait to put it into practice for the rest of my client sessions for 2020. ... Here's a photo I shot in yesterday's session and edited in today's workshop. One thing I've wanted to learn is how to get even skin tones and I'm pretty exited to say I'm nailing it! Woohoo! Thanks Sunlit Studios for putting together an amazing program <3

If you've been following for a while you'll know that earlier this year our dog, Ollie, was diagnosed with his second Mass Cell Tumor, this one located in his ear. Can't thank the team at Gray Street Vet Clinic enough for their help and advice through the whole ordeal. ... Can confirm he still loves a good 'ear' scratch

01.01.2022 Dean + Angela Earlier in the week Dean + Angela made it official and tied the knot. Yesterday at her parent's beautiful property west of Emerald, they held their reception so they could celebrate this milestone with their closest friends and family. ... It wouldn't be a 2020 wedding without a few hiccups... Angela handmade her wedding dress (talented right?) and was still sewing lace and beads on until 1:30pm and Dean left his pants in Emerald (45mins away). It's these little things that they will remember 20+ years down the track. Thank you for letting me chill out with you guys for the day
