25.01.2022 Hello everyone. Given the current situation we all find ourselves in, we think it is necessary to do our best to keep everyone as safe as possible. We will not be opening the store next week except for the below exceptions. We have contacted any people collecting orders next week outside of Friday and Saturday of our after-hours pick-up options.... Any orders placed online may be collected from our store on Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm until further notice. 21.01.2022 I want to update you on the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation and the added precautions we’ve implemented. I want to point out that we’ve always had stringent hygiene standards; however, there are a few things we’re adding to our everyday routines. They include: -Ensuring hand sanitiser is readily available for anyone in entering our store. -That our EFTPOS machine and POS areas are sanitised between every transaction.... -All surfaces, such as benches, door handles, floors, and machines, are cleaned with high-grade disinfectant spray (this has always been a requirement). -Washing hands with a hospital-grade disinfectant soap regularly (also always been a requirement) -All kitchen machine accessories and tools are cleaned with a 95% alcohol (those of which that can’t be placed into a dishwasher - i.e. specific cake decorating tools.) We will still be operating as usual, with the option to order our nude cakes and edible prints online (prints can be posted, nude cakes must be collected, but the collection can be arranged for after hours if necessary). As always, we’re happy to take orders and payments over-the-phone/direct deposits and organise couriers to Hobart and surrounds, or have orders ready to collect to minimise any social interaction. On a personal note, we too have members of our family who are incredibly vulnerable, so we do understand first hand how important it is to be extra vigilant with cleanliness and hygiene. Anyone who has ever visited our kitchens knows first hand just how high our standards are when it comes to the health and safety of our customers and ourselves. Be kind to one another. 10.01.2022 Geode cake. Ombre purple layers of cake inside and covered with buttercream. I created a crystal mould (food grade, of course) with fragments of real crystal shards, then used isomalt to create an edible version - they were gorgeous. I then broke them up a little attached to the cake, added some airbrush colour (because it's thinner than a gel colour) to achieve the purple geode, added some gold edges, et voila!

01.01.2022 UPDATE ON TRADING TIMES - From Friday 1st May - Fridays & Saturday's by appointment. Firstly, I'd like to say a big thank you for all the well wishes and support we've received over the past few months; it means more than you know. The phone calls, emails and messages of support have been so welcome in what has been such a rough time. I feel confident that when we're all able to celebrate as we did before that this Tiny business will get right back into the swing of thing...s, bigger and brighter than before.
