21.01.2022 Tonight saw the All Blacks play the Springboks in their 100th game - it was only right that I use NZ ingredients to create a patriotic dish!! Some years ago my sister gave me NZ chef Al Brown’s recipe book Eat Up. This recipe, taken from that book, uses Littleneck Clams, combined with garlic, chilli, preserved lemon, capers, white wine and parsley. I added NZ Gurnard fish and tossed through freshly made spaghetti. So quick, so simple

15.01.2022 CAKES have been my thing this week; the first baked for a friend’s birthday, an Orange & Blueberry Loaf with an orange & cream cheese icing. The other, a German Apple Cake, which has a subtle, light texture. However, this deliciously frivolous pursuit ends here while I focus on my new 6-WEEK AFTER SCHOOL COURSES for 9-15 years.
