25.01.2022 WHY DO WE USE STRETCH CORDS? Prior to every swim session we use stretch cords, along with core activation exercises. Dry land exercises help to improve conditioning and stroke efficiency and to activate the swimming muscles before hitting the water. You can use stretch cords at home to help strengthen the swimming muscles and they are easy to travel with when you can't get near a pool. The Atlas Swim sessions are every Monday and Wednesday at 5:30am at the Buderim State School Pool.

19.01.2022 CONSISTENCY IS KEY Time and time again we hear ‘consistency is key’ and this is most definitely true when it comes to triathlon training. One of the most important elements of forward progression is consistency when it comes to training. We are certainly seeing many examples of this in the squad lately as people train for their respective events. They are becoming faster, stronger, fitter and more skilled by the day. They are consistently turning up to sessions, they are ...consistently completing their programs, they are consistently fueling their bodies and they are consistently getting plenty of sleep. Their training programs ensure they are consistently improving all three legs of a triathlon, with each session having a purpose. A training program catered around your lifestyle will ensure you can consistently turn up to training rather than trying to fit them in haphazardly. See our website for how to get consistency in your training: https://www.atlasmultisports.com.au/new-to-triathlon-start- See more

13.01.2022 Good afternoon riders, given the inclement forecast for tomorrow and into the weekend, tomorrows club ride is cancelled. Stay warm and dry and spin up those windtrainers!

13.01.2022 While running or riding with headphones isn’t for everyone (and we don’t advocate riding on the road with headphones for safety reasons), for those long solo slogs, being able to pop on a podcast and educate yourself while you train, or purely enjoy a little chilled distraction, can be a great option. Check out our website for a few of our podcast ideas these can all be found on your choice of podcast app or online. https://www.atlasmultisports.com.au/podcasts-for-long-runs-
