24.01.2022 More info to come when the weather clears but picked up the 7 Shehane today from Ziersch Custom Rifles. He did perfect work as per usual and we can not wait for... nicer weather tomorrow. But to answer the, factory 24 sporter vs 26 proof weight discussion... Build specs: Tikka T3 7mm Shehane Bolly UPH gen 3 stock LimbSaver Airtech recoil Pad Atlasworxs Factory Alloy Trigger Guard Porter Machine Works LA Bolt stop PROOF Research 26 1:8 1.2 shank 7mm barrel American Precision Arms m18x1 Little Bastard Courtesy of Huntsman Firearms Tier-One 20moa rail All of these components with an empty magazine installed total 7lbs 2.1oz. /3.23kg or 82grams heavier than an almost equivalent build in 300wm with factory 24 sporter. Considering the added weight of the 20moa tier one rail, brake and 26 heavy profile barrel is seriously awesome. Then add the B&T Industries PSR bipod, porter machine works rings, Armament Technology Inc. Tangent Theta 315M scope, Low Vis Gear mountain Cover (absolutely critical after looking at the weather forecast!), 3 rounds and a bubble level to bring it up to final hunting weight of 4.6kg which is all the bells and whistles weight. (Have a range day tomorrow where better photos will be taken )

There are significant delays from the postal services due to the Covid -19 impact resulting in limited flights out of Australia. This has caused delays by the postal services getting deliveries out of Australia and into other countries. 13.01.2022 The Match rifle for Precision Rifle Series AUS was all ready to go, 6XC chambered Schultz & Larsen Tactical in a Precision Defence Industries Bolly UPH Carbon r...iflestock. It featured a new Atlasworxs DBM with American Rifle Company, Inc. magazines and rings. The IOR Optics Scope 4-28x50 recon was all dialed in for Norma 6XC 95gr BST ammunition and a American Precision Arms Little bastard was fitted to the 27mm bull barrel along with a LimbSaver recoil pad on the buttstock to reduce recoil to less than a .223. Plus we had it all supported by B&T Industries ATlas PSR bipod and a Low Vis Gear rear bag... then the Supplier let us down with 6XC ammunition... Poor Match director... we quickly grabbed the 19mm 300win mag barrel we had set aside for him and went hunting for ammunition so a massive thanks to Fisher Firearms for scrounging up 400 rounds of 300 win mag... this is the result... we can't wait for everyone to have a go at SSAA Mildura later today.
