08.01.2022 Here we grow again: Atma welcomes to the team Dr. Joe Abraham. Joe has a Master degree in Geology and Geophysics and an MBA in Project Management to his credit. Recently, he completed his PhD in contaminant land assessment from the Federation University Australia and published number of articles in international peer-review journals. Joe has been in contaminated land consulting and research since 2000 and has worked with many reputed organisations including SMEC International for United Nations (UN), where he managed a large contaminated groundwater project in Iraq. Joe also brings with him experience in geophysical surveys, quality assurance / quality control and downhole geophysical logging.

01.01.2022 Landfilling or basalt flow lobe? One of things I really love about site contamination investigations is the window you get into the past and the challenge of puzzling out what is what. E.g. this one: looks like tipping into the side of a creek but recon finds outcrop here. Probably a bit of both - we'll need to drill it and find out!
