22.01.2022 Atmos Health and Hygiene. The only indoor air quality consultancy in the north of Australia with professional certifications in IAQ, Mould, Indfection Control and HVAC&R.

22.01.2022 From >12,465 mould spores per square centimetre to zero.

20.01.2022 Preparation is the hardest part of the job.

20.01.2022 Asbestos, mould, electricity, deep excavations, sewer lines, burned buildings, heights, hard to reach locations and innocuous decorative bathroom finishes. All in the day of Atmos Health and Hygiene.

19.01.2022 Atmos is continually undergoing training and adding services in the indoor environmental space; and we now operate our own internal lab for the identification of fungal spores and other microscopic particles. This increases the amount of samples that can be collected on site at a vastly reduced cost to the client. It will be long and very hard road to achieve full proficiency in fungal spore ID and Atmos will still be sending samples to external laboratories for final reporting. So in the meantime, we hope you enjoy some of the wonders of the indoor microbial world that we have discovered so far. And if you require any further information, please feel free to contact us at any time.

15.01.2022 When hazards meet. Sewers, excavations, asbestos and extreme tropical weather.

10.01.2022 Paul Felvus from Atmos Health and Hygiene has received the award of Council-Certified Microbial Investigator (CMI) via the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). This internationally recognised certification is awarded through a combination of documented experience, education and training and the successful completion of an examination; and recognises knowledge and skills in: - Bacteria, fungi, amoeba, viruses, mycotoxins, endotoxins, ß-(1-3)-D-Glucans, microbi...al volatile organic chemicals, common antigens and bioaerosol exposure and the associated effects and risks to health; - Detailed structural and indoor environmental knowledge including the operation and control of air conditioning and heating systems; - The design, execution and analysis of valid, relevant and reliable microbial sampling regimens; - The design and monitoring of microbial prevention, control and remediation programs for the indoor environment. Paul is now one 8 Council-Certified Microbial Investigators and/or Consultants in Australia and is working toward the Council-Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) award to add greater depth and breadth to the CMI award. With our highly modified indoor environments in the tropical north, and with the monsoon season looming, now is the time to consider our the microbes that we share our homes and work spaces with.
