17.01.2022 During my time in Zimbabwe with each individual from the film Abantu - Peopl of Art , it came to my attention that there is no platform for creatives to get together and network within the country. In January 2019 the very first ABANTU Tour will be hosted in Zimbabwes two capital cities, Harare and Bulawayo. The purpose of the tour is to have a day filled with creatives coming together, networking and showcasing their arts and creativity. Creating a platform for creativ...es to share ideas to better develop Zimbabwes creative industry which is something that hasnt yet been done but needs to be highlighted. The only way this can all happen is with your support! A GoFundMe campaign has been made where all the funds raised will be used for the event which is planned to have over 100+ individuals coming together from different cities. As a young Zimbabwean creative living in Australia, having the opportunity to show people Zimbabwes creative scene means a lot! There is more to the country which hasnt yet been discovered. 03.01.2022 Its a bit late since New Year however I must say 2018 was a really successful year! Releasing my first documentary film, travelling interstate to screen it and making my name rise in Zimbabwe Despite having a few setbacks on other projects I wanted to work on and lacking with consistent posting, 2019 will be that year for change.
