24.01.2022 A Touch Of Compassion would like to acknowledge Forest Lake Shopping Centre for the boxes of food donated yesterday. Many families will be blessed. Bags are now packed for the free giveaway tomorrow to go alongside the hampers.

23.01.2022 Drive thru free food parcel giveaway this coming Monday 27th April, for families doing it tough. Front of Carole Park State Primary School Community Hall. Waterford Rd Ellen Grove 4078... Starts 5pm, please do not park directly in front of the hall, or you will be asked to move. Drive up with your boot open, your boot will be loaded and you drive further up to close your boot. Please do not get out of your car at any given time, and do not hold the line up. Parcels are now put into: Single packs Family packs God bless you, see you Monday If your walking, then please wait across the road at the shops until someone calls you over. We are normally finished around 5.30pm

Held outside Carole Park State Primary School Community Hall 4pm start ( hour later than usual ) Finding it hard to make ends meet, come on down, everyone welcome A Touch Of Compassion have been blessed with hand knitted jumpers, blankets, beanies, gloves and much much more.... I know we are going to need it with the cold nights and mornings Thank you Knitting For Brisbane's needy, many families will be blessed this weekend due to your kindness, love and compassion. IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!! Next week there will be NO giveaway, we will only be distributing emergency food parcels. For this you will need to private message me. 07.01.2022 Free Food Hamper Giveaway for families doing it tough. Everyone welcome Sunday 3pm ( tomorrow ) Carole Park State Primary School Community Hall 4078... Please make sure to have your boot open ready to receive when driving up. Volunteers have been asked NOT!!!! to put food on top of any existing rubbish/dirt/pushchairs or any matter that restricts us from placing food safely in your boot... that's YOUR!!! responsibility to clean it out before you arrive. Please remember!!! Do not park on Boundary Rd ( it is dangerous ) I know the line gets long, therefore form another line on the opposite side. This week I will be trying to get the families with little children/babies in their cars through first. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our dear friends that have been helping families all over Queensland for many years. They have amazing knitting groups all over Queensland that consistently knit for those in need. A dear couple ( whom we are blessed to call friends ) that go the extra mile ( literally ) to make sure many charities such as ourselves receive blankets, beanies, kids jumpers, adult jumpers and also school stationery, back packs, new clothing, homeless packs, and the list goes on ( much much more ) Every year for the past nearly 9 years you have unselfishly given to us for the people and ask for nothing in return, except to see smiles on children's faces or warmth in homes where families are doing it tough. Even providing Xmas gifts every year, your smile says it all when you see a child squeal with excitement after opening their gift ( I know that's rewarding enough for yous Even through sickness, this does not stop you from being there for struggling families, your love and compassion is your strengths, how blessed are we/people. 03.01.2022 Food hamper drive-thru giveaway for families experiencing hardship is on this Sunday 3pm. Carole Park State Primary School Community Hall 4078 Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the volunteers that give up their time to come help distribute the food every Sunday, Also to those that have just come on board, God bless you all, we appreciate you, and pretty sure the many families needing help that come Sundays, do too... We have two amazing volunteers that we would like to acknowledge, not only do they give up their time Sundays, but also during the week too. They don't need to be named, they serve with such humbling, grateful hearts, for them it's an honour and privilege to serve, Thank you Jesus!! So last week we tried to implement letting cars with young children through first, unfortunately it didn't work, in fact it created traffic havoc. Also a lot of whinging This week it will be same as usual, first in first serve basis. One car, one parcel policy. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON BOUNDARY RD Buses need to get through, DO NOT BLOCK the bus stop directly outside the school. We will be on the look out for cars doing this. WE WILL NOT SERVE YOU!!! This week we had a family emergency, which left us no time to fully stock up on our food resources, for the free food hamper weekly giveaway.... Thank you Ozharvest, for the truckload of abundance donated. Many families were blessed yesterday Boxes of 2 litre apple and orange juices, boxes of large cheese and onion Chips, boxes of popcorn, boxes of biscuits, boxes of muesli, boxes of soy milk and almond milk, and much much more. Literally filled the truck. May God continue to bless you all, in Jesus precious name
