19.01.2022 It is not every morning you check Facebook market place and see a 1927 Willys Whippet engine you have been looking for advertised for sale. Picked this up from Roy Friday night. Dad is going to pull it apart. We will put the block in an acid bath and when cleaned up we will assess if block usable. One of the cylinders quite pitted with rust though...... I got alot of research to do. Maybe JB Engine Weld can repair it :) Thanks to Roy for showing us his car collection, including the beautifully restored Whippet.

15.01.2022 The second extension for JobKeeper has come in to effect on 4th January 2021. 09.01.2022 Did the inaugural business planning course offered by University of Sunshine Coast at Caboolture Campus in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council, Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism, Regional Development Australia and the Dept. Of Employment, Small Business and Training. Thanks to our leader Dr Wayne Graham. Congrats to my fellow graduates. A fun certificate ceremony yesterday. Ita Buttrose gave presentation and learnt some interesting things about history of Southeast Qld from the Aboriginal lady who welcomed us e.g. Toowoomba was called Woomba Woomba originally and it was her uncle who made it Toowomba, as in 2 Woombas. Haha, now that's aussie for ya.

07.01.2022 Well, what are the odds... Another 1927 Whippet Engine found on FB Market Place. Amazing. The previous engine requires alot of work. Now we have stripped down and cleaned it up abit cracks begining to emerge in the block. Bad rust damage too. Thinking we are going to finish dismantling the first one and then get straight in to checking out the engine we got yesterday. Thinking it will be the block we use.
