22.01.2022 REMEMBER, there are 3 steps to Shampooing your hair!! 1. Shampoo (twice if it’s dirty/scalp is oily). 2. Conditioner thru mid lengths/ends (rinse well). 3. Towel dry and add a leave in Moisturiser (a light spray type for fine/med hair, a cream for Med/thick hair, oil for thick/unruly hair).... Shampoo will open the cuticle and clean your hair and scalp. Conditioner will restore the ph, close the cuticle and help detangle some hair types. Moisturiser will nourish, hydrate & protect your hair, which will help add strength, shine and colour longevity. 19.01.2022 A couple of reasons Why Just Haircut is not our preference.... For a first time client a shampoo, cut and blowdry is a great option because: 1. Then we can both (client and stylist) can check the length and weight of the style is satisfactory after cutting. (Also trying to tee-up a time to get a client back in because they need a bit more length or weight off is hard as everyone’s schedule is full and a little unfair because the stylist couldn’t see how it naturally will f...all once dry). 2. We are in the feel good industry and we love to serve!! It’s as nice for us as it is for you the client to walk out feeling pretty. It feels so nice to finish with a blowdry. Our job is to help people look and feel amazing and blow dries go a long way for us to achieve that. So please indulge us, life’s too short, get the blowdry

19.01.2022 A week in the life of our Salon Owner ~ Alana Clients always ask me how my life is going now I’m not on the salon floor so much. And while it’s not all beer n skittles or champagne and chocolate (as I’d prefer) I’m kept busy full time in a way that I love ... A typical week for me is starting on a Monday (after getting the kids organised) I spend my mornings studying N.L.P (neuro linguistic programming) and learning to be a better communicator, problem solver and goal getter!! I go to clinical Pilates often after that (to retrain 20yrs of bad posture from hairdressing) I also then run errands for the week and start up Mum’s taxi service after 3pm and during the week. Tuesday’s see me in the salon looking after clients, stock ordering and getting my admin up to date. Wednesday’s is my marketing day where I create content, work on emails, videos and social media posts, then see clients in our evening/late night. Thursday’s are for team!! Meetings, planning, and looking at our K.P.I’s (key performance indicators). Whilst Fridays are for catch up!! Anything I’ve missed at home, with the kids or salon (and Evie’s footy games). Saturdays I see clients when requested & Sunday’s I don’t plan!! My life is full in such a good way and I thank every client, team member & supporter got that! I hope that shows thru in my dedication to my culture and vision of Atone Wellness
