18.01.2022 Here are 3 things to check that will turn your Google Ads that are currently sucking cash and not delivering leads into a 'qualified lead delivering powerhouse' within a matter of days: 1. Your technical set up might be far too broad. Focus your keywords. Only one lot of key phrases per ad group. Within that ad group, create 3 ads all focused on delivering an outcome for that one key phrase. Focus, focus, focus. You need to tell Google exactly what you are good at solving. 2.... Is your campaign set to 'maximise conversions'? Do you have your conversions integrated with your landing page and google tag manager? This is a must. You want leads, not just clicks. 3. Is your landing page focused on solving the users problem or is it a general showpiece of your graphic designers ability to create a 'brand'? I think you know which one it should be. 05.01.2022 I had been a graphic designer for over 25 years. I've designed countless brochures, websites, ads, photography, logos and branding, and I was bloody good at it. Only once I needed to market myself did i realise how useless graphic designers were at marketing. It hurt. both emotionally and in the wallet. Nothing burns cash quicker than a Facebook ad that looks awesome but fails to convert.... I quickly learned that your brand, your advertising, everything the market sees of you, must first revolve around a solid, proven proposition - a promise - an outcome the market needs. Once you nail that, then you can add the branding (which by the way should both set you apart & visually communicate your proposition).
