21.01.2022 The Product Team recently enjoyed a conference in Byron Bay, NSW, staying at The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa a multi award winning resort consisting of 92 rooms set amongst 45 acres of subtropical rainforest. The team also enjoyed dinner at Elements of Byron a new 5 star property offering 103 private beach villas amidst 50 acres of absolute beachfront paradise and surfing the beautiful Byron Bay with Let’s Go Surfing.

15.01.2022 We're pleased to report that following on from AOT’s announcement last week that it will acquire the business of ATS Pacific and Tourism & Transport Fiji, ATS Pacific New Zealand General Manager, Stuart Neels will become ATS Pacific’s new Group General Manager (subject to completion of the transaction on 30th September). All of us in Sydney office are delighted that Stuart will be joining us on 1 November and of course we wish Sue Notley all the best when she returns to beautiful Queenstown.

15.01.2022 Today, Helloworld Travel and ATS Pacific has donated 2,000 bales of hay, (10 entire truckloads of feed) and 575,000 litres of water to the Australian farmers affected by the terrible drought and fires over the past 3 - 4 weeks. 07.01.2022 Good morning, Due to the worsening bush fire situation on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. Where we now know we have many roads closed off - The National Park is closed - Day Tour has been suspended till mid next week - many tourist attractions are also closed. It is with a heavy heart that we will evacuate all existing Kangaroo Island passengers and not send anyone to the Island for the next 48hrs. The spectacular Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island has been heavily d...amaged by fire in their location overnight and is now closed to further notice. Our Reservations Centres will now be running Southern Ocean reports and will be in contact in due time. Sealink is running extra ferry services to Kangaroo Island bringing in Firefighters and the expectation that anyone who wants to leave the Island today Saturday will be able to do so. Due to sheer volume of people involved Residents and Tourists at Kangaroo Island - ticket amendments will be made at the ferry terminal and not by phone. Our Reservations Centres in Sydney and Melbourne have additional staff working over the weekend and will be available to talk with any of the effected passengers and re-book new services for them as required. 04.01.2022 Kangaroo Island Update ... (Monday 06.01.2020) We are very sad to report that both Southern Ocean Lodge & Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat - did not survive the ferocious fires on parts of Kangaroo Island and both were destroyed over the weekend. All guests and staff were evacuated early enough and were safely accommodated elsewhere. Our Inbound Reservations Team in Sydney have run reports and all agents and passengers are being contacted and some guests already in Australi...a will be offered alternative accommodation options both on KI or other locations. Thankfully - 75% of this beautiful Island was not affected by the fires and many suppliers have already resumed full service or will do by the end of the week. Some of the day touring will now have amended itineraries but there is still an enormous amount to see and do in the unaffected areas of Kangaroo Island. The entire Australian Tourism community is fully supportive of getting KI back to normal as soon as possible. Here are some photos of why we love KI so much!

04.01.2022 A great familiarisation trip of Sydney and the Hunter Valley was enjoyed by ATS Pacific staff members along with their colleagues from Helloworld offices around Australia & New Zealand!

03.01.2022 1st October marked a new beginning for ATS as we became part of the AOT group. What better way to celebrate than with a yummy cake and a glass of bubbles. Cutting the cake are Maree Wilcox, our longest serving employee (sorry Kathy you were overseas!) and our newest addition, Chloe. We're all very excited about becoming part of the AOT group.
