13.01.2022 Last week, we talked about institutionalised racism in the Adventist church, and the #blacklivesmatter movement in the US. This week, we’re taking the topic clo...ser to home. Join us tomorrow at 4pm (AEDT) for a #RecordLive interview with AUC ATSIM director, Darren Garlett, and lecturer and academic, Terry Ngarritjan Kessaris, to discuss their experiences with racism in Australia and the Adventist church. GUEST BIOS: Darren Gartlett is a Whadjuk Nyoongar man from south-west Western Australia. He joined the Adventist church in 1993, became an ordained minister in 2004, and has ministered in the Western Australia Conference, Northern Australia Conference, Greater Sydney Conference, North New South Wales Conference, as the Mamarapha College Ministry Coordinator and now as the Australian Union Conference ATSIM director.
