The semi-sparkling Gellewza Rosè Frizzante produced by Delicata has been awarded 2 more awards at two different wine competitions held recently in London. This delicious medium dry Rosè wine is made entirely from Malta’s indigenous red grape variety Gellewza, one of two native grape varieties that are unique to the Maltese Islands.... 03.01.2022 The 5th edition of the Maltese Cook Off was yet another success! 8 teams and a menu of very high standards! 2015 was won by Team 4 - 'What's for Dinner' - a team made up of a mother and two of her children, Carmen, Luke and Annie Portelli! ... Their menu consisted of Kosksu with bejna (Broad Bean Soup with a Fresh Cheeselet) and elat tal-Bajtar tax-Xewk (Prickly Pear Ice Cream). Congratulations to all involved and a huge thank you to all our loyal and new customers on the day. Grazzi hafna! Sahha!

02.01.2022 Eurovision 2015 Malta's Entry.... Amber is only 23 but she is already a Eurovision veteran. ... She has competed in Malta's Eurovision Song Contest national selection five times, finally winning the contest for 2015. And she actually performed at the Eurovision final in Baku in 2012, as a backing singer for Malta’s entrant that year, Kurt Calleja. Amber’s number one passion is music and her dream is to secure a recording contract and perform in other countries. She is excited by her song Warrior, which was written especially for her and allows her to demonstrate her vocal range. The song is about overcoming difficulties by finding an inner strength; she hopes people will find it inspirational. Her own singing heroes are Etta James, Beyonce and Ray Charles.
