25.01.2022 Lockdown is over early, Well done to everyone, we still showed we're made of the right stuff and did what needed to be done. A minor inconvenience to my work schedule. I'll sort it all out over night and call everyone who is waiting tomorrow with new days and times.... Be careful out there, and stay safe. Many thanks Matt
22.01.2022 Hi everyone, I've noticed it has been a while since I posted, so I thought I'd check in. Not a lot to say, I've been keeping as busy as a gardener can when there has been no rain for what seems like 6 months.... One thing that is worth thinking about is your gutters, they're easy to forget when there has been no rain for a long time. It is definitely worth getting them checked/cleared at this time of year. If anyone does need their gutters checked and/or cleared, then I'm happy to help anyway I can. Tomorrow I will be having the day off, I don't care about most public holidays but tomorrow is one day I don't believe in working. Still feel free to send through any messages and I will reply to them on Friday. Take care everyone
22.01.2022 When you've been working 10 minutes and it rains.... Could be a long day.
21.01.2022 Hi everyone, I hope that everyone is coping ok in these trying times. Just thought I'd put this out there........ Had someone tell me the other day that they knew someone that wanted to ask me a question re their garden, but they didn't ask because they thought I'd charge for that. Not true! If anyone out there has a question about their garden, I would be more than happy to help if I can.... For free, no way would I charge for that. I'll state now that I'm NOT claiming to be a horticultural expert, however if anyone has a general gardening question, or wants some advice.... Ask away. Keep safe and well! Thanks, Matt
19.01.2022 What looks better than a freshly mowed lawn? Two freshly mowed lawns side by side!
19.01.2022 Hi everyone, I've deleted my last post as it was leading to some confusion, I was trying to save potential new customers some time. I'm open for business and will deal with each job request individually.... Have a great day, Matt
17.01.2022 Happy Thursday
15.01.2022 This an example of how just putting mulch down can transform a rental property from looking rough to looking neat and tidy.
14.01.2022 Just a couple of random photos of one of my favourite gardens. This belongs to an elderly couple, who took great pride in their garden, but were no longer physically able to maintain it. It gives me great joy to be able to keep it looking nice for them.
13.01.2022 A little front yard refresh, ready for sale!
10.01.2022 Happy 2nd birthday to A2D Garden Maintenance Two years ago, during the first week of August, I started my own business with just one customer. Fast forward to today and my little business keeps me busy and out of strife Thank you to all my friends and family that have supported me along the way, but the biggest thank you goes to all of my customers who support me with their business, reviews and recommendations.... Due to word of mouth, I don't advertise, and because I don't need to advertise..... Im keeping all my prices fixed and guaranteed for another year. Thanks again to everyone and anyone that has supported me along the journey, I am very lucky and grateful to be able to make a living doing something I love. Keeping gardens looking beautiful. Matt
09.01.2022 I just want to say thanks to all my customers and followers! The reason I can offer great value for money is that I haven't needed to advertise for a long time. Word of mouth does all the work for me. I have reviewed my prices and although everything keeps going up in price, with all of your support I am able to freeze my prices for at least the rest of the year. Local business supported by local people! I love it, thank you for helping me create everything I wanted my business to be. I look forward to taking care of your gardens long into the future!
08.01.2022 A front yard tidy up!
08.01.2022 Front yard transformation!
07.01.2022 Hi everyone, I was waiting to start the year with a positive post or a big yard tidy unfortunately I bear a little bad news. Today I was involved in a car accident, while I was stationary I was hit a decent speed from behind. Everyone in both cars was ok but alas my poor trailer has been badly beaten up and is currently in a depot waiting for an insurance assessor.... For all regular customers please bear with me, I will be at least a week behind once I've sourced a new trailer and fixed the tow ball on my car and dealt with insurers etc. If you think I'm due and haven't heard from please get in touch, I will endeavour to contact everyone. For any new customers, I will need your business to pay for all the hassle and lost income but it will take me 1-2 weeks to get to you from this date (17th). Lastly just a plea in general for everyone to take it easy on the roads. The lady who hit me was a nice lady who just had a lapse in judgement, that lapse has written her car off and put me out of business for a few days
07.01.2022 I've said it before, and I'll say it again..... I feel extremely fortunate to have the customer base that I do. While our rivers, dams, rainwater tanks and nature in general have been getting some well deserved rain, I have been struggling to keep up with all the work that needs doing. Every single customer I have had to contact has not only been understanding but also very supportive. I can't explain the stress and anxiety that I feel when I don't keep up, so I thank you all... for being so kind. Hopefully with all this rain, our gardens and suburbs are green for months to come. I will be working hard to catch up, if anyone feels forgotten please get in touch. Thanks again, Matt
07.01.2022 I mow a lawn once a month in Craigburn Farm, this funny little bird lands on my car every time as soon as I park. Just a little story, but I find it so interesting that he always lands on my car.
06.01.2022 Hi everyone, Not a business related post but I have dobbed myself in for Dry July, that means 31 days without alcohol in hope of raising some money for people affected by cancer. I can't share the link on this page but if in anyone would like to donate, could they send me a message and I will message you back the link to my page.... Thanks everyone
05.01.2022 Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't posted on here for a while, what can I say there really is only one word to describe the start to the year..... HOT! Thank you to all my kind and understanding customers, there as been a few days where I've knocked off early due to the heat.... Looks like the weather might be cooling down a bit next week, so we can all get some relief. Until then keep cool, keep your gardens watered and leave some water out somewhere for the wildlife if you can. Take care, Matt
05.01.2022 Who says you need a ride on mower to slash blocks!
03.01.2022 Just part of a garden makeover I did yesterday!
