25.01.2022 I made this pocketed wall hanging for At The Cutting Table postcards and business cards. It’s now hanging at Gladstone Store Cafe in Birchgrove, not only do Tim and Suki do great coffee and food, but it has the most wonderful friendly atmosphere with seating outside under the lovely old verandah, or you can go across the road to Birchgrove Park. If you go there help yourself to a card or two!

25.01.2022 Another make ..... At The Cutting Table business card pocket, now thumb tacked onto the notice board at The Fabric Store, in Cooper St Surry Hills. A great relaxed, open space for the fabric fans such as myself!

25.01.2022 At The Cutting Table is open for business! I'm not at all used to advertising ME, now I have my very first website, business cards and now Facebook, I'm feeling a little apprehensive about putting myself out there .... yikes! I absolutely love to teach and pass on my skills. I have already done classes in my studio but if At The Cutting Table does take off life will be exciting and I can be fully dedicated to what I love, I know it may take a while but here's hoping. If you would like to check out my website, here it is - www.atthecuttingtable.com.au

22.01.2022 I went to see The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries from the 1500s ...... so richly coloured with plant dyes and the most incredible detail. An absolute feast for the eyes & fantastic costume reference & inspiration! Showing at the Art Gallery NSW until the 24th of June.

18.01.2022 How absolutely fantastic ..... a costumier’s ‘bible’ number 5!!!! I had the great pleasure of working with Jenny Tiramani at Opera Australia, cutting some of the ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ costumes. She is totally dedicated to the craft of historical costume, the recreation of it and passing on her knowledge as a teacher, through the continuation of the Janet Arnold books and at The School of Historical Dress in the UK. www.theschoolofhistoricaldress.org.uk

08.01.2022 I made this cushion cover to emphasise that At The Cutting Table sewing & pattern making classes also cater for people with little or no experience. Learning these creative skills can be such a delight & once you’ve started, there’s no end to what can be achieved! You’ll now find the cushion at Gladstone Store Cafe, in Birchgrove, where I also have At The Cutting Table business cards & postcards.

05.01.2022 Happy Sydney Mardi Gras, so much to celebrate ...... 40 years since the first march & the first year of gay marriage!
