25.01.2022 My role is producing custom hand tied, reasonably priced flies for freshwater , native and saltwater fly fishing enthusiasts. Working in conjunction with At TheRiverbend, I pride myself on delivering top quality products(without the exorbitant price tag) for fishermen without the worry of your fly being a "two fish" fly. Whether it be that trophy double figure trout or the 100+ pound tarpon you are chasing you can rely on my flies to come up trumps and produce for you. Cheers E

25.01.2022 A little bit of inspiration tonight from David Hackett. A garfish and an articulated squid. I’ve used a mix of h20 brush and Steve Farrar fibre along with Hends Hare Dubbing and the ever reliable Semperfli predator fibre. Along with our in house 3D eyes. Nano silk and Solarez resin. The head on the experimental garfish is a fish mask built up to from shape with the resin. H20, Hends, Semperfli all available from the store. Have a great night Royce.

18.01.2022 Peek-a-boo! Stick Caddis or Peeking Caddis what ever you want to call them should be a staple in any trout box. #attheriverbend

16.01.2022 A great Autumn day here in Sydney chasing kings, one of four taken on the garfish fly. Tied using products from the shop. Check out the stores - https://www.attheriverbend.com.au or https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/attheriverbend

15.01.2022 Good evening everyone. Thinking outside the square is something all fly tiers do, but sometimes we miss the simple solution. Not quite up to speed with the more technical methods, like me and dubbing brushes! Thankfully Semperfli make some great products, here I have tied up a few bream shrimps using their fabulous Straggle String and Nymph Dub, the wings and mouth using the Semperfli Predator Fibre and the V-Type eyes from Stonfo (again another easy to use product). So if your just starting out or want to tie up a simple yet effective shrimp that’s quick to tie and uses minimal material. We all know how many shrimp flies we donate to snags and oyster racks. I’ve included a step by step as well. Tight lines Royce

13.01.2022 A Wullff Pack ready to hunt the Mitta

10.01.2022 One marabou feather to tie the whole fly K.I.S.S. Cheers Eugene

10.01.2022 Silicone fly boxes. Get on em people, if you're sick of ripping up the foam in your current boxes , silicone doesn't do that it doesn't have any memory and it's elastic unlike foam. Cheers E

09.01.2022 Candies and shrimps tied using Semperfli Predator Fibre and Semperfli Straggle String, both these products are very versatile for tying your baitfish and shrimp patterns, along with a whole host of other freshwater and saltwater patterns. Both fly patterns are tied on Mustad hooks, and for the shrimps I’ve used Stonfo V-Type eyes and black rubber legs, then finished off using Solarez UV resin. Cheers,... Royce See more

09.01.2022 G'day all, been a bit quiet lately but I'm back at it, hope everyone is have a safe and happy holiday. Cheers Eugene BWO, using @semperfli_flytying Nanosilk Kapok Dubbing and Dirty Bug Yarn , CDL tail, Badger variant hackle and CDC parapost. All materials supplied by @troutlore , @Flyfinz and At the Riverbend

02.01.2022 A bit of a public service announcement come collaboration between like minded suppliers, as you know I'm the in house tier for At the Riverbend however in keeping with the ethos of not wanting to overinflate prices etc I'd like to give a shout out to Jim at Flyfinz and Rob at Troutlore for looking after me with the more exotic feathers and fur I need to provide you our customers with quality hand tied (in Australia) flies. The picture is of Jim's version of a 100 pack , the feathers are sourced from Whiting Farms capes and saddles to provide a range of sizes usually between 12 and 18 rather than have an expensive cape or saddle sit in your tying area not being used. Cheers Eugene
