19.01.2022 Spring has begun and this means we are heading into the grass seed season! Grass seeds can cause multiple different problems for our furry friends. As well as ...penetrating into paws and ears, we also see them becoming lodged under eyelids where they can cause chronic conjunctivitis or corneal ulcers. Small seed husks can even become adhered onto the cornea, requiring removal. Grass seeds can also penetrate through the conjunctiva and travel into the orbit creating abscesses which are painful.
