24.01.2022 Here's a challenge for everybody. How many repeats of Alp d'Zwift do you think you can do? Over Easter join in for one or 8.5 repeats. You need to be at Level 12 to access Alp d'Zwift. which is an exactly replica of Alp d'Huez so get Zwifting now. Double level upgrade points if you do events or races from Tour of Watopia.

I can't tell you how honoured we are to have someone with such a wealth of experience and knowledge join the team. Conor is a seasoned road racer with experience racing domestically and internationally and also just an awesome human being. He has worked with several noted coaches that I hold in high esteem and is ready to help you achieve your peak performance in a holis...tic way. Get in touch with me or him to make it happen. 23.01.2022 Attuned Athlete @soulrunner1 recently won the Aussie CX National Champs in her Masters category . She is also an awesome running technique coach and in one session helped me reduce my time per kilometer by 30sec whilst maintaining the same heart rate. Hit her up for some affordable run technique coaching or attend one of her workshops. What a talent .

19.01.2022 Injuries . If youre an athlete they are part and parcel of what you do. They require a great deal of mental fortitude to come back from. Martin @nasi_campur_ fractured his big toe right after a grueling training block and when he was in peak form. He had to patiently wait and watch all that fitness wash away and then painstakingly rebuild it. Hes fighting fit again and all of us at Attuned wish him luck for @kingoftrack in Korea.

19.01.2022 This is Dr Ella Atkinson an amazing human who is managing to fit in a bike racing career alongside her medical work. Ellas 2-year goal is to ride in the National Road Series (NRS). I can tell you right now she has the physiology for it with a giant VO2 max and the explosive power she has brought across from ballet. She is pictured above racing Bay Crits one of the fastest criteriums in the world following only a small build since she came onboard with Attuned Performance. 14.01.2022 Published at the end of March 2019 is a study (double-blinded, placebo-controlled, cross-over trial) showing pomegranate extract improves time to exhaustion and the ability to produce a maximal effort after a prolonged submaximal effort in trained cyclists (sounds like a road race to me). Pomegranate extracts may represent a new class of supplements that increase endurance performance. The study design is impeccable however its only one study and results need to be replicate...d by other groups before it joins the likes of caffeine, beta alanine, nitrates and bicarbonate. One other caveat is the supplement preparation was from a proprietary source. Caveat emptor if youre a competitive athlete the onus is on you to make sure any supplements you take wont light you up like a glo stick at testing time. Coach PC has tested this on himself for the last 90 days with no ill effects @ Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

06.01.2022 This is Ben Lehner. He came to Attuned High Performance Consultancy with 2 goals: to improve his climbing performance and to be more competitive in our state cyclocross series #VICXS. So far so good Bens climbing has improved and shortly well set about his #cyclocross ambitions. In addition Ben has been providing inspiring photography work for us and is helping with the design of the website currently under construction
05.01.2022 Want to get that holeshot at your next #cyclocross race? Complete your warmup as close to possible to call up and then keep your jacket on right up until just before the start. I recently attended the Summer High Performance Sport Seminar Australian Catholic University (ACU) and heard from Prof. Mark Russell from @leedstrinity about decreases in sprint performance as a result of decreased core temperature in team sport athletes during half-time. 03.01.2022 Wanting to wish Daniel Taylor a safe journey as he leaves for Japan today for a CX campaign over there. I've been super impressed with Dan's discipline, hard work and perseverance in completing the training block we planned in order to prepare him for Japan. After recovering from China he completed a 6-week preparation. This involved 3-4 days of high volume aerobic work + neuromuscular power efforts followed by a rest day before 3 days of VO2max sessions + skills work and ano...ther rest day.* Here are some stats: Biggest week = 27.5h (1141 TSS) Number of lung-busting VO2 sessions = 15 Total kilometres = 3143 km Total training time = 141 hours Race days = 4 (including a podium in Elite XCO) This is what it takes to ride at an elite level. This was something we developed here at Attuned and to my knowledge has not be done before.
