25.01.2022 While the weather is cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon the girls that have started to wear winter school uniform get a little hot in their leggings in the afternoon. You can put a pair of white or navy ankle socks in their bag so they can take their leggings off when they are hot until the weather is more settled into winter. So they can still wear their shoes comfortably.

25.01.2022 What a busy day at transition today!!! Our 2021 Kindies had some name practise, played a game of twister showing off their colour ID skills, did some fun activities revolved around the story ‘Dear Zoo’, showed how we can make patterns in lots of different ways and made towers that were taller and shorter.

23.01.2022 The school photos have just arrived and we will be handing them out this afternoon to parents or carers at the gate or if not convenient, they may be picked up from the office on any day. If you would like your child to take the photo pack home, please call the school.

23.01.2022 WOW! It is almost week 3 already! With our first session of ‘Springing into Kindy’ transition beginning next week as an extension of our playgroup - I have attached a "what to bring" list for those joining us. Don't forget - this week's session will start at the same time as Playgroup (at 10am) and those enrolled to begin Kindy next year will spend the morning doing some extended activities with myself and will stay a little bit longer. they will be picked up by their parent/caregivers at 12:30pm. 22.01.2022 Advice regarding Online Enrolment from the Department of Education. We are excited to announce we will be are rolling out the new Online Enrolment System from Monday, 10 August 2020 The Online Enrolment System is designed to provide flexibility for our parents to submit an enrolment application online and at the time that best suits you. The application can be accessed on all browsers and mobile devices including iOS and Android. Original Birth certificates, Immunisation reco...rds and proof of residential address documents must still be supplied to the school office to copy. The online application process is currently restricted to: Enrolments into local schools only Children who are Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or permanent residents Children who live in NSW. We offer our support and encourage you to complete your application to enrol online. 21.01.2022 Wishing all the dads, granddads and important/significant males of Attunga PS students have had a wonderful Fathers’ Day today. K-2 had a fantastic time creating their magnets and cards for you all!!

21.01.2022 P&C Christmas Raffle Our P&C is again organising our school Christmas Raffle. Your eldest child should have received raffle tickets from their teacher. If you would like more tickets please contact the school and Jess Hogan from the P&C will gladly supply more when needed. Kindly support our P&C in their fundraising efforts. All money supports our school.

19.01.2022 Attunga Public School Playgroup recommences today with Mim Player our school chaplain from 10.00am to 11.00am. You will be met at the school gate for signing in and given the Department of Education guidelines of Covid-19. All families with children up to school age are very welcome to attend.

19.01.2022 Today was our final day with 2 out of the 3 2021 kindies. Today we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and completed a bunch of activities relating to this. We finished our last day with a certificate for officially completing transition and a gift from the school - their first sport shirt. 08.01.2022 Lara participated in Zone Physical Culture last weekend. She came in as Third Girl Champion. Lara has worked very hard to get where she is at physi and her commitment shows. She has the opportunity to go through to the next level if she desires. We are all very proud of Lara. Well done.
