25.01.2022 So today we got the all clear to start back to training. We still have to finalise a few of the safety rules with the COVID-19, so we have decided that training will start back on Tuesday 16th June. Your coach will contact you shortly. But we have to remember, to get back on the courts and train there are many guidelines we MUST follow to stay on the training courts. These include the following: Only 10 to a court, this is only the PLAYERS and the COACH ONLY. There will b...e an Atuka Exec there at all time to help the girls from the time they enter the courts to the time they leave. Parents/Carers can walk the players to the gate, BUT cannot enter. Parents/Carers must stay in the car whilst we train. There will be only fitness and ball skills for now. We must keep a 1.5m safe distance when possible. There is to be NO contact. You can only enter the courts when it’s your training time. Unfortunately for now, we cannot socialise so it’s a come and train and leave for now. If you are sick or have been around anyone that is sick you CANNOT Trian. You must sanitise your hands when entering the courts, between drills and before you leave the courts. You cannot share water bottles, so please bring your own. Players MUST sign a sign on sheet, this is to keep a register of who is at the courts. We have a been ask to encourage everyone to download the COVID app, but this is a suggestion and not a requirement. The clubhouse and toilets will be closed for now. Our committee members, along with NNSW & Lakeside Executives have work so hard to get you back on the courts, so we ask that you please respect the decisions and rules that have been made to keep us covid safe. We have also been advised that if anyone breaks these rules that the player must be sent home and we may have our courts closed, so it’s very important that we all work together to keep us on the courts. We are all excited about this news, and we are still waiting for a return to Saturday games. Once we have any information about this we will let you all know. Anyone that hasn’t finalised their fees cannot train. Our dresses and bummers are back, so anyone that has ordered them, these must be paid for to collect them. We will have them at the clubhouse next week.

03.01.2022 As we all continue to self-isolate, Lakeside Netball Association are following the recommendations of Netball NSW together with Public Health NSW. With the anno...uncement of a possible return to play in July if social distancing and crowd congregation bans are lifted, Lakeside are looking at a restructured competition to ensure teams can play safely within the guidelines set down. Executive members will be consulted within the next week with a couple of options, then Clubs and Independent teams can be consulted to determine what the best option will be. The proposed competition will then be announced in a post by the beginning of June when we have a clearer definition of what we can accomodate. Stay safe and well everyone!
