18.01.2022 We’ve just been contacted by a resident asking us to post this. Police were sending a car immediately... My husband was walking our dogs along Brenchley Drive at approx 10am when a man in a beat up old blue commodore 90’s model drove past him with a child unrestrained on his lap with two other unrestrained children in the back seat. They bunny hopped past my husband while throwing cans of cola beer out the window at him. Then the car turned onto Avon Crescent (opp Atwell Coll...ege) and stopped there. As my husband walked past, the guy was clearly drug affected as my husband saw his face. He then proceeded to hit his kids and erratically drove off as my husband got closer with the one child still on his knee. Unfortunately my husband was unavailable to get the number plate as he was in such a state of shock. But I have reported the incident to police. I’m hoping someone else saw and managed to get the number plate. Driver was fair skinned, with a shaved head, around 40 years old. If anyone has seen this vehicle, or has cameras in this area, please contact the Police.
18.01.2022 ROAD CLOSURE Tapper Road, between Armadale Road and Lydon Boulevard: Night closures of Tapper Road will continue from 7pm to 6am Thursday 12 November through to Wednesday 18 November to facilitate a new road alignment on the approach to the temporary roundabout. Signed detours will be in place.

16.01.2022 Tapper Rd UPDATE Additional closure in place this SUNDAY 15th NOVEMBER from 12pm until 6am Monday. Main Roads have also said they will stick to the 7pm closures on other nights and not earlier as they have been.

13.01.2022 ATWELL BREAK IN Overnight a property in Atwell, had a window broken and the offender attempted to gain access to the home only Cms away from where a child slept. Yes it’s been report to police ... If you live on/near (area circled in picture): - St.Claire Gardens - Freshwater Ave - Lydon Blvd - Paradise Cove Can you please check your CCTV cameras between 2:30am - 3:30am for any unusual behaviour, people walking the streets or suspicious cars and drop us a PM. 05.01.2022 DANGER It’s just been reported that a big pot hole on Armadale Rd, heading towards Gateways near Freshwater (IN THE LANE CLOSEST TO HJ’s). Please drive carefully.
