25.01.2022 The key to winning new business on LinkedIn is not rocket science. In fact it’s quite simple, here it is step by step: 1) Get clear on your target market... 2) Understand where LinkedIn fits in with your overall sales process 3) Use ‘Sales Navigator’ to develop your audience 4) Start engaging with their content 5) Reach out and connect with them Once you’ve opened up a conversation look to take that convention offline. The best way to do this is either through a phone call or face to face meeting to further develop the relationship. Whatever you do DON’T pitch, no one likes to buy from people they don’t know.

22.01.2022 Before posting any type of content on LinkedIn we always ask ourselves these TWO questions to make sure each post is as engaging and valuable as possible!
22.01.2022 Alex launched Linkfluencer back in 2013. When no one even knew what LinkedIn was. And those who did thought it was a job site or recruitment platform.... Along the way the platform has certainly evolved, growing from a few million members to over 600 million. But even with all the updates and the tremendous growth, it’s had. The REAL purpose behind the platform hasn’t changed from a sales perspective. To connect one on one and build meaningful business relationships. No matter what industry you’re in and where you do business, ultimately we are all in the people business. The key to leveraging LinkedIn successfully is understanding that at the core we are all here to connect. Rather than pitching your service, look to build relationships. Take the conversation offline, meet for a coffee or do a phone call. Understand where they are at, what challenges they have and what their looking to achieve. That will tell you whether or not you can help. Make that your goal with everyone you network with and watch magic happen!! Thoughts?

17.01.2022 It’s been more than a decade since LinkedIn first hit our screens, took the business world by storm, and transformed B2B networking as we know it. The platform has managed to not only stay relevant for many years. But compete with social media royalty including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.... Before LinkedIn, business professionals who were purely looking to connect with other businesses had to mould their brand to fit into the B2C outlook of these platforms. So once there was a medium that allowed businesses to formulate their own target market and drill down on a particular client avatar It was game over. We dedicated our last blog to highlighting LinkedIn’s newest features, and since then, even more have been rolled out. So check out our recent blog article for everything you need to know about LinkedIn’s most exciting features yet. Here’s a link to the article: https://bit.ly/3jSxSx6 Enjoy the read!
17.01.2022 One of the biggest misconceptions about LinkedIn. Is that it’s only effective for companies who operate in the B2B space. This is simply not true. ... If you’re looking to generate leads then yes, you must be a B2B company. However, if your audience is B2C, there are still a couple strategies you can leverage to get in front of your audience. In episode 38 of The Ask Linkfluencer Show, we break down exactly what those strategies are and how to leverage them on LinkedIn to gain more clients and grow your influence. Here’s a link to the episode: www.linkfluencer.com/ask Enjoy the show.
14.01.2022 Alex just hit the 40,000 follower mark, normally this would excite him. But not long ago he made a shift to focus more on value than the numbers and as such he's increased his reach exponentially. No matter where you are on your content journey, remember value is the key driver to engagement, reach and true influence. At the end of the day, it’s about the impact you make not the number of followers you have.
13.01.2022 I think it’s fair to say that a lot has changed in business over the past 4-6 weeks. With isolation being enforced across the globe, most companies and teams have had to resort to working from home (ours included). Because of this we’ve seen a huge spike in activity on LinkedIn.... - More conversations are opening up - Phone meetings have doubled - Connection acceptance rates have increased by 10% And reach on content has hit an all time high. Why? Hard to pinpoint one particular reason. But we think it all comes down to people having more time and needing to replace their offline networking activity with online. And what better way or platform to do that than LINKEDIN!! No matter where you are on your LinkedIn journey, the time to double down is NOW! Who’s taking advantage of this?
12.01.2022 Building your personal brand on LinkedIn. Is NOT just about putting up content. It’s making sure you get the balance right so that your network buy into you at an intellectual and emotional level. ... If you do this well, you’ll build a community of people who not only see you as an expert. But someone they come to know, like and trust.
09.01.2022 In business most often it’s not what you know, it’s who you know that counts. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the relationships I’ve developed along the way. But over the years the way we go about developing relationships has changed dramatically. ... Before it was all about going to events and networking functions. Nowadays it’s mainly shifted online with over 3.8 billion people using social media, out of which 61% use it specifically to network or meet new people. Why? Because it’s faster, less time consuming, scalable and much more effective. So if you’re still struggling with making the transition, in our recent blog we break down a simple step by step process you can use to start networking successfully online. Here’s the link: https://bit.ly/2CElCiF Enjoy the read and remember, networking is not about collecting contacts, it’s about planting relations.
07.01.2022 One of the most common questions we get asked from the community is: 1) What type of content should I post on LinkedIn? 2) Should it be all educational or a mix of personal and educational. ... The answer is really simple? Both. The key to building influence and your thought leadership on any social media platform is being able to build a community of people who know, like and trust you. And LinkedIn is no different. To do that you need people to buy into you on an emotional and intellectual level. That’s why it’s important that you get the mix right. In episode 36 we not only go through the process of how to flush out content both educational and personal posts. But we also provide the exact step by step framework we use to schedule in content so that it’s published consistently week in week out. Check out the episode here: www.linkfluencer.com/ask Enjoy the show!
06.01.2022 When you connect with someone new on LinkedIn don’t just pitch them your product/service. Find a way to build a relationship first. Think of it the same way as when you meet someone at a networking function for the first time, you wouldn’t just talk about yourself. You would get to know them, what they do, who they serve, challenges they might have in the business and so on.... Well... LinkedIn is no different. No one cares about what you know until they know how much you care. STOP pitching and start serving.
06.01.2022 Imagine being that banked up with leads and sales opportunities that you have to hire new staff and slow down your LinkedIn campaign. Well this is the story of Chris Ellis. Good problem to have I guess.
06.01.2022 When LinkedIn first launched in 2003, many people thought it was just a recruitment platform. A place where you upload your resume and land your next role. Things have certainly changed over the years, today LinkedIn is responsible for more than 80% of all B2B leads generated online. ... Whilst most businesses recognise the sheer power of LinkedIn There are still plenty of businesses who are either new to the platform or have been a member but haven’t used it to its full extent. That’s why we’ve decided to go right back to the basics and put together a beginner’s guide to leveraging LinkedIn. The article walks you through a step by step process on how to: 1) Developing your overall strategy 2) What resources you need in place to get your campaign off the ground And how to best manage it once it’s launched. 05.01.2022 In 2011 Alex started using LinkedIn to connect with journalists and editors. He was sick and tired of the traditional ways of getting media exposure. One day driving home from a meeting he got an email from a friend of mine that said 94.2% of editors and journalists are on LinkedIn. ... That night he went home and made a list of the top 5 publications he wanted to get featured in and started connecting. In a little over 6 months, he managed to build a network of over 330 contacts and in turn get featured in over 50 media publications. He did all this without sending out a SINGLE press release. Here’s how he did it...
04.01.2022 Whoever tells you LinkedIn is not powerful, is just not using it properly. Mark went from having no strategy on LinkedIn to a 300% increase in business. Appreciate the kind words, Mark, thanks for testing the software. To learn more about Jayla, visit us: www.linkfluencer.com
04.01.2022 A lot of people ask us what’s the formula to getting lots of engagement and reach on LinkedIn? The answers real simple: Value + Consistency + Care = Engagement ... Stop focusing views, likes, comments. Start posting from the heart and put meaning to everything you publish. Some posts will do better than others, it’s unrealistic to think every post will go viral. For us, we take a great deal of responsibility when we share our thoughts, feelings and ideas. Our goal with anything we publish is to make a positive impact on just ONE person. So we write for that person who needs to hear the message the most. By doing that, we feel confident every time that we're posting something valuable and meaningful. Thoughts?
04.01.2022 In 2016 Jaqui Lane approached us for help with her LinkedIn Strategy. At the time she was known as a self-confessed luddite. Never in her wildest dreams did she think that one day she would have a thriving online business.... Fast forward 5 years and not only has she done this but managed to scale it all through LinkedIn. Increasing sales by over 320% and growing her team from one to five staff members. Pretty amazing right? Inspired by her story we asked her to become a beta tester for Jayla. It’s reviews and stories like this that remind us why we come to work every day. The best is yet to come!
04.01.2022 There seems to be a lot of confusion at the moment when it comes to posting up content on LinkedIn. Should it be personal? Should it be educational?... If this is something you struggle with, in episode 34 of the Ask Linkfluencer Show we take you through a step-by-step plan on how to start publishing content on LinkedIn: https://linkfluencer.com/ask/ In the video, we talk about the importance of getting clear on your: 1) Target market 2) Personal brand 3) Quantity to publish And most importantly how to stay on track in order to put out content consistently week in week out. 03.01.2022 Don’t let other people’s insecurities. Stop you from achieving your vision. Too many people our founder speaks with are worried about sharing their message on LinkedIn because of what others might say or think. ... Delete it and move on. You can’t make everyone happy, nor should you try to. Just focus your message on the 99.9% who value your content not on the 0.01% who will hate on you no matter what you do or say!!! Because you’re a reflection of what they wish they could be!!! H: Holding A: Anger T: Towards E: Everyone R: Reaching S: Success Remember haters don’t actually hate you, they hate themselves.
