Seniors card holders get free entry into the festival, and weve got a big line-up of activities including traditional Japanese performances, flower demonstrations, Japanese tea ceremonies and Kimono photo opportunities. Things will turn decidedly green as Dr Suess beloved Grinch helps us remember the true meaning of Christmas. You might even cross paths with the Grinch himself! This year's Christmas in the Gardens is free and features Christmas lights, Christmas carols by local community groups, free rides and Christmas activities, Dr. Suess themed foods and an open air movie screening. Weve missed our gardens being full of visitors so we couldnt be happier to say that from today we are once again open 9am-5pm, 7 days a week! Wed like to thank everyone for their patience during our closure in this difficult time. As always the safety of our staff and visitors is our first priority so wed like to remind every...one of the current Stay Safe measures for NSW: -Follow NSW rules for gatherings (no more than 10 people) -Maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5 meters from others -Practice good hand hygiene -Take extra care if youre around vulnerable people -Get tested if you have any symptoms, even if they are mild -Stay home until you get the test results or are medically cleared Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon. Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival is partnering with Japan Foundation in presenting a day built for school students and people interested in learning more about Japan and its culture. We have Taiko performances, language classes, Yukata stylings, an Origami workshop and much more.
