25.01.2022 Effie was in because she had a rash on her legs. Dr. Salky had a look snd had put her on some medications to help clear it up.

25.01.2022 This morning was a very sad morning at the surgery. Dr. Sally and Gary had to farewell Parnassus, whom they had known for nearly 10 years, from when came in as a tiny puppy. Parnassus grew up to a whopping 74kg, but was the most gentle giant, with the distinction of winning The Longest and Sloppiest Tongue Award. It is always very hard to let go and say goodbye, but Parnassus had a very aggressive cancer, that no matter how strong he was, he couldn’t beat, and he was able to go before it became too hard for him We will all miss you Parnassus.

24.01.2022 Cool People Don’t Leave Dogs in Hot Cars! Well, the message is certainly getting out there.

23.01.2022 Rhea was in to gave her ear infection rechecked. It was much better, but still some bugs there, so Dr. Sally did another lot of ear drops and will check her in a week.

23.01.2022 Ruby was in for her annual health check and vaccination. She is starting to slow up, by Dr. Sally was happy with her condition and and how her medication was helping her arthritis.

23.01.2022 Bella was in because she was shaking her head. Dr. Sally had a look and took a sample to look under the microscope. Bella had an ear infection, so Dr. Sally cleaned her ears and put in some ear drops.

22.01.2022 Bailey was in with a sore behind his ear. Dr. Sally suspected an ear infection could be causing his to scratch himself and after taking a sample from the ears, found she was right. After cleaning out the ears and putting some ear drops in, Bailey will feel a lot better.

22.01.2022 Mary was in for her next lot of vitamin shops. She is getting to be an expert at this now.

21.01.2022 Leo was in because he had a limp. Dr. Sally checked him out and couldnt find anything obvious. Dr. Sally put Leo on some pain medications and will recheck him and if he is no better, will take some X-rays.

21.01.2022 But was back for a recheck on skin condition. Dr. Salky check him over and was really pleased at how great his cost looked.

19.01.2022 Luna was in for the full beauty treatment today. Shampoo, Blow dry, pedicure and short cut to keep her cool over Summer. I think she has more hairdressing appointments than her mum.

17.01.2022 Effie was in for her last puppy vaccination. Effie had put on 4 kg in just 7 days and by the look of those hoofas, she is going to be a very big girl. I do not think she will be able to get up on the consult table for much longer. Just two more weeks now and she will be fully covered by her vaccines and start exploring.

17.01.2022 Tiger was in for a Spa Day. After his shampoo and conditioner, he had his blow dry and then a new Summer clip. He will be nice and cool for Summer now.

16.01.2022 Maggie May was in to have her annual health check, as she was unable to have the other day, while on medications. Dr. Sally checked her out and was really happy with her condition and thought she looked pretty good with her new Summer haircut.

16.01.2022 Cutie was in to have her ear infection rechecked and she also had a n eye discharge. Salky checked the ears and did one more treatment of ear drops and gave Cutie some eye ointment to help make his eyes feel better.

16.01.2022 Alfie was in for a recheck on his vomiting. He is doing really well and Dr. Sally is happy with his response to thd medication, so is going to continue him on it.

15.01.2022 Winnie was in for a recheck on her ear infection. Dr. Salky took a sample and checked under the microscope, and she got an All Clear!

15.01.2022 Sim a was in for his annual health check and vaccination. Dr. Sally check him out and he was in great shape.

15.01.2022 Bella was in for her annual health check and vaccination. Dr. Salky checked her over, and she was in great shape.

14.01.2022 Henry was in for his annual health check and vaccination . Dr Sally gave him a thorough check over and he was in great shape.

13.01.2022 Leo was in because he had a lump and sore on his tail. Dr.sally sedated him, so she could take some cells and see what was causing it. The lump was cyst and was infected, so Leo has gone on some antibiotics and will need to have the cyst removed, so it doesnt keep coming back.

13.01.2022 Indy was in because she has had a return of infection between her toes. Dr. Sally had a look and her owner decided to try a shampoo on the area s as bd see if it clears up. If it doesn’t and the sires get any larger, they will come back to have them treated.

13.01.2022 Winston was back in to have a check on his surgery sight, just under his eye. Dr. Sally was really pleased at how well it is healing.

13.01.2022 Riley was in because she was finding it difficult to walk. Dr. Sally checked and found she had bad arthritis, so started her on some medication to help her and take away the pain. She should be feeling much better in a few days.

12.01.2022 Kiki was back in to check on her sore back. Dr. Sally had a look and even though she was a little but better, she still had some tenderness. Dr. Sally added in some more pain relief and if she is no better by Monday, she will get her back in for X-rays.

12.01.2022 Max was in for a recheck and he seemed to be a little better. Dr. Sally was happy with his progress and will just keep monitoring him.

11.01.2022 Its heating up and word is starting to pop up everywhere, like here at Coolangatta Beach.... Dont leave dogs in hot cars!

10.01.2022 Pippin was in for a check over snd to see how his blood pressure was going. Dr. Sally was really pleased at how much better he was and that his blood pressure had dropped down to a happy level.

10.01.2022 Sammy was in to have his teeth cleaned today. All went well and Dr. Salky was pleased at how clean his teeth came up. He was soon sitting up and ready to go home.

10.01.2022 Jordy’s mum made Dr. Sally and Gary the most wonderful pear cake, covered with edible flowers and sugar bees.

10.01.2022 Teddy was back in for a recheck on his sore eyes. Dr. Sally checked them out and put a dye in the eye to make sure there were no ulcers on the eye balls. Dr. Sally was really happy to the response to the eye medication and will get her to continue on the medication for a few days, before stopping.

09.01.2022 Louis was in to have a quick stitch check, after being desexed. Dr. Sally had a look and gave him the all clear to play and have fun.

09.01.2022 Maggie May was in to have a Spa Day. She had a bath, shampoo and conditioner, blow dry and pedi. While she was in, she had a lump on her head, that Dr. Sally had a look at. After a sedation, Dr. Sally took some cells from the lump and check it out yo see what is was. Luckily it was nothing serious. , but will need to come off st some stage.

08.01.2022 Lucy was in for her annual health check and vaccination. Dr. Sally thought she was in great shape and had fantastic teeth.

07.01.2022 Henry was in for his annual health check and vaccination. Dr. Sally checked him out and except for some tartar on his teeth, he was in great shape.

06.01.2022 Lady Gray was in for her annual health check and vaccination. She was in great shape except they her teeth need a clean, so she will come back in for that.

06.01.2022 Ralf was in to get his last puppy vaccination. He is growing quickly and only has two more weeks left to wait, till his vaccines will give him full coverage, and he can explore the world.

06.01.2022 Lambert was in to have his teeth cleaned and polished. He now has a sparkling smile and was soon sitting up in recovery. He was so well behaved, Gary gave him a Teddy Bear Paw.

04.01.2022 Fergus was in so Dr. Sally could do a recheck in his skin and ears. He had been to see Dr. James the veterinary eye specialist and had an operation and his eyes were looking a lot better. Dr. Sally was pleased with his skin and ears and has put him on a maintenance medication for his ears.

04.01.2022 Nala was in for her last Puppy Vaccination. Dr. Sally checked her out and she was looking fantastic, so, in just two more weeks, she will be fully covered and able to do and go everywhere.

04.01.2022 Russell was in because his leg was hurting him. Dr. Sally had a look and put him on some pain relief, but if it doesn’t get any better, he will have to see the orthopedic veterinary specialist.

03.01.2022 Poor little Alfie was in, because on the weekend, he was attacked by two dogs and got a bite to his neck and his ear. Dr. Sally is going to continue his pain relief and antibiotics, to make sure the wounds do not become infected.

03.01.2022 Chico was in for his annual health check and vaccination. Dr. Sally checked him over and and found he was in great shape.

01.01.2022 Teddy was in because he had a sore eye. Dr. Salky did dire tests and had given him some eye ointment which should make his eye a lot better. Dr. Sally will recheck his eye in a few days.
