24.01.2022 First post for a while. Unfortunately I was unable to compete in the AusTimeAttack@wakefieldpark due to the roll cage not being ready until a week out from the event. Due to work, family etc that did not leave enough time to have the car prepped sufficiently. I've been pretty bummed ever since and only got back into the shed this week. The race car is pretty dusty and will remain like that while I finish building my road car.
21.01.2022 So got the short block buttoned up. Just waiting for a few gaskets to show and pick up the turbo. It's a new Hypergear ATR43SAT ballbearing model good for 550hp. They are proven on plenty of Skylines and Silvias with dyno proven 350kw@wheels. We won't be seeing that much on this engine but with the highish 10.5:1 cr and E85 it should spool quick for its size and produce a nice dyno figure. https://hypergearturbos.com//atr43-400600hp-t3x-internall/
19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, it is with a heavy heart that we are having to CANCEL September's Hillclimb due to a second covid outbreak and our very limited team of volunteers ...that help run the event. We would not be able to abide by the current Government regulations and AASA Motor sport regulations with the volunteers we have. So please forgive us for this year. Hopefully we will all be back to Normal next year and we can run as per normal in MARCH 2021. Thank you all for your understanding. Sincerely Owen Fernance Myall lakes motorsports club President.
16.01.2022 550hp turbo for the 1.8t.

04.01.2022 This is a video I made a while back that got ridiculously positive reviews, best they've ever seen, etc etc, BUT it didn't get a massive amount of views, not en...ough to make more considering this was meant to be number one in a series of lots. BUT just in case (and to be fair I've not finished editing my new ones I filmed in the last week yet), I'm gonna give it another airing as a lot of you will have never seen it... When it comes to a lot of race cars, especially Group B rally cars, while there's loads of action videos out there, actual detailed specs are almost non-existant. Even specialist books, videos, and websites only have fairly vauge info, and to be fair a lot of BS too. People are always telling me I should write a book, but to be fair I hate writing and people like to see action too, so I had an idea, an idea to make something I'd have bloody wet my pants if I saw, as it would've been something I've always wanted to see. The first attempt at this idea is this video, which has taken me far longer than I'd like to admit to create lol. What this video is is a proper detailed technical look at the legendary Audi Sport Quattro S1 Group B rally car. And when I say detailed, I mean it, as most the info and details in this vid I've never, ever, seen anywhere else before, including some massively blatant rule bending lol. How the layout of the video goes, is a couple of mins of explaining things along with the legit homologation paperwork for the Group B Sport Quattro, then a couple of min of absolute mental sounding mad flame throwing pure engine sounds action from the cars themselves, then a couple more min tech cool stuff, then a couple more min of action, and so on. It's pretty mental, some things even I've never even seen or knew about before deciding to create this video, and it is is done in chronological order, as Group B cars almost constantly evolved right until the end. I hope you like the video and please tag/share etc as much as you can as this took me bloody ages to do but I loved doing it, so would like to do more. Maybe the Lancia Delta S4 next if this finally gets a worthwhile amount of views!
