17.01.2022 So Barb and I went to MIFF on Sunday night and watched this fantastic show, followed by a Q&A with StevenMcGregor (Director) and Steven Oliver (Narrator) and th...en an amazing Hamer Hall set by Alice Skye. We felt a bit bad about being in our trackies! Audrey Studios were delighted to host the crew and contributing artists to record the wonderful songs they wrote for this show under the production of Trials back in February when we could fill the place with peeps, it was heaps of fun with Alice Skye, Fred Leone, Mojo Juju, Mau Power, Birdz and Trials. 14.01.2022 When you have a nice room with 2 booths but 5 singers are coming for a covid safe session......... You whip up a couple of iso partitioned booths. Ladychoir came to sing on a Mick Thomas project last night and once they were settled in to their iso work stations it was masks off for a beautiful session of blended voices. The studio was a happy place.

07.01.2022 First peeps back in Audrey, with masks, distancing and me behind a movie camera. The fantastic Alice Skye recording a streaming set. We’re all set for live streaming and recorded then mix/edit. Sounded great to have musos playing together here again. Good for the soul too.

05.01.2022 The morning after the night before. After 5 amazing singers from Ladychoir visit for a covid safe session we initiate the unusual modern ritual of sanitising and sun drying our pop guards!

03.01.2022 We had the pleasure of producing this track for the RMH Music Therapy dpt. I eve bot to record string players from the doctor’s orchestra in an operating theatre! Luckily the acoustics were great and the lung surgeon was a great violist, and the ICU nurse a fine violinist. The Scrub Choir make me cry every time. Heroes all of them. Perfect release on RUOK day.
