22.01.2022 I have this quiet obsession with cafe and restaurant interiors. . I don’t know where it came from, it certainly didn’t come from my days frying chips and clearing tables at Nuggets cafe in Kingscliff. . It certainly hasn’t come from my worldly dining experiences or my love of cooking.... . But I’ve been pinning, pasting and collecting pics of the most incredible cafes and restaurants for years. 05.01.2022 Sunday’s Lounger . I have a Sunday’s Lounger in my home, I know I’m biased but I absolutely love it. . We have it in a spot that catches the morning sun shining through the window. Most mornings I sit here for 10 minutes or so drinking my tea amongst the getting ready for school chaos and trying read a few pages of a book. ... . In the evenings my daughter sprawls on it, scrolling and doing homework (it’s conveniently also in a great spot for our wifi ). . Every other day it’s perfect for piling laundry on, putting shoes on and taking them off, tossing my bag onto and constantly arranging cushions on . 01.01.2022 This year has been quite over whelming at times. . This year Im so so grateful that the highs outweighed the lows. . This year we have seen the worst and the best of people and I’m hopeful for better days and decades ahead for us all. ... . This year I have lost and found myself several times (sometimes in the same day) and I’m ok with that because growing does not come from sitting comfortably in the one familiar spot. . This year I have closed doors and thrown open windows. . This year I have learnt A LOT. The most important thing I have learnt is just how bloody incredible this community is here. You have supported me and this little biz and you have been a beacon of light with your kindness during some particularly challenging months. I’m beyond thankful for that and for you. .
